"Then let's quit playing around, InuYasha." Sesshomaru announced.
Sesshomaru flung his poisonous nails at InuYasha. There was a small scratch at InuYasha's ear.
"Hmmmp," InuYasha scowled. Even thought Sesshomaru was his own flesh and blood, they despised each other so much for their own reasons nobody lived to talk about, except Kagome that is.
"Just because I spared your 'girl' doesn't mean I'll pity you with my sorrow." Sesshomaru spat.
Kagome was irritated. She wished she could do something to help, but she forgot her bow back at the village. Kagome still had arrows though...
If I can find some tough, long grass and a branch, I could have a bow, she thought.
Kagome tried to sneak away quietly and swiftly, but Sesshomaru caught her sneaking away.
"Not so fast, human morsel." He announced.
Crap, he caught me, Kagome thought.
He extended his claws and shapeshifted them into rope. Sesshomaru flung his hand towards Kagome, aiming for her side.
She dodged it, then ran behind a tree.
"As if I would fall for that one, Kagome." Sesshomaru said blandly. He ran up to her, and tied her swiftly to the tree.
"Can't get away now, can you, Kagome," Sesshomaru taunted.
"Don't loose your target Sesshomaru! WINDSCAR!!" InuYasha yelled. Instantly, InuYasha has Sesshomaru with scratches and bruises. Sesshomaru sat up slowly.
"You caught me off guard, InuYasha. For an instant I thought the quarrel was over and I was to be dead. But it is you who will suffer the fate." Sesshomaru criticised.
Suddenly, InuYasha was pinned to the ground with Sesshomaru's poison claws.
"This battle is over. Now suffer in the underworld." Sesshomaru spoke.
*stab*
Sesshomaru looked at his chest where his heart was. There was a sacred arrow in his heart! He screeched with pain.
"A-UN, ASSISTANCE! LET'S FLEE AT ONCE!" Sesshomaru called to his dragon demon. A-Un flew above Sesshomaru and took off with him in his claws. Rin, the human girl, was steering A-Un towards the sun.
"This isn't over!!" He cried angrily.
"Kagome! You saved my life," InuYasha stated, shocked.
Kagome was holding a branch shapped as a bow with a thick, green blade of a plant where the string on a bow would be.
"How could you make a bow only out of plants and a branch?" InuYasha asked.
"Survival skill, I guess," Kagome replied. "Let's get out of here. I bet Miroku and Sango are worried about us."

"InuYasha, you're badly injured. Lay down while I find some herbs for your cuts and bruises." Miroku insisted.
InuYasha didn't resist because Miroku was right. He was injured, but not that bad. He had his sword propped against the wall, and his Fire Rat coat was with his sword.
"Here, I'll wrap you in bandages while Miroku finds herbs for your ear." Kagome said.
InuYasha nodded.
Kagome took some "Ninja Medicine" out of her bag and sprayed it on his ear.
He winced. "Stay still for this one." Kagome instructed.
There was a horrific, longs gash on his stomach. Kagome sprayed the "Ninja Medicine" on his wound. He howled pain from the burning.
"Are you okay InuYasha?" she asked.
"I'm fine," he responded. "It's just the gash on my stomach I'm worried about."
"I'll wrap some bandages on it to help stop infection from setting in." Kagome said kindly. She wrapped white bandages around his stomach, and put medical tape on the sides so it wouldn't come off.
"Better?"
"Better."
InuYasha layed in his straw-made bed and closed his eyes, but didn't fall asleep.
"Here's the herb for his ear, just grind it and mix it with water." Miroku whispered.
"I'm not asleep dimwit," InuYasha stated.
"That's InuYasha for ya." Kagome laughed.

InuYasha fell asleep beside Kagome. He's so adorable when he's asleep, Kagome thought. She stroked his hair softly. If only he wasn't such a dim witted fool.
She laughed lightly.
"Goodnite Kagome," Sango whispered.
Kagome hardly heard her, as she fell asleep beside InuYasha.
