"Wait 'til I get my hands on Sesshomaru!" InuYasha clenched his fist. Kagome looked over to Lucy and Natsu. They were holding hands and whispering to each other. Kagome sighed.
Why can't InuYasha and I be like that? Kagome thought.
InuYasha POV

I looked to my left to where Kagome was. Suprisingly, she wasn't there. I looked back and found her looking at Natsu and Lucy, then on the ground.
I've been starting to worry about her lately. Often, she's been miserable, but I'm not sure why. Maybe I can make it up to her when we stop to camp.
We trekked to a small, flat area near a river. Kagome unpacked the tent and set it up. Natsu and Lucy went by the river to collect water.
"Hey..uh, Kagome?" I asked nervously.
"What's up?" Kagome said ernestly.
"I don't know exactly how to word this, but are you okay?" I inquired.
Kagome hesitated for a moment before she answered.
"I'm fine. Why?"
"Well, I'm worried about you. I'm worried that you're unhappy," I stated.
Kagome blushed. "Well, it's just that Natsu and Lucy are so happy together. I just wish we could be more like them, like a more develo-"
Before she could finish, I hugged her. I caught Kagome blushing.
"Are you feeling better?" I asked gently. She kissed me. "You could say that."
Natsu and Lucy returned with a pail of water in each hand.
"Who's getting all lovely dovey now," Lucy smirked kindly.
I looked up quickly. Natsu and Lucy were watching us?!
"It's cool. Our friends see us doing it all the time. Hey Natsu, remember when Gray puked when we kissed one time. Juvia was so upset that he wasn't 'feeling well'." Lucy laughed.
Although I didn't know who Gray or Juvia were, they seemed like nice people.
Kagome lay down beside me when Natsu and Lucy went to sleep. She was looking at the stars, and her eyes were like one.
I put my hand around her until I heard the familiar gentle snoring. Then, I fell to sleep.

Kagome POV
I don't know exactly how I got here, but I was in InuYasha's arms. He was wide awake.
"Good morning," He murmured.
"Morning," I grinned.
Natsu and Lucy were still asleep, so InuYasha and I thought it would be fun to prank them. We got the pail of water Natsu got and placed it by the tent. InuYasha poured the water over the tent to make it look like it rained really hard. I giggled softly.
InuYasha stepped away from the tent and waited.
It wasn't very long until they woke up.
"What the hell?" InuYasha exclaimed. "Lucy...?"
"It can only be one thing...AQUARIUS DID THIS DIDN'T SHE?!"
"Um, I didn't summon her."
InuYasha laughed, as did I. Natsu poked his head out of the tent.
"I'm going to clobber you!" Natsu ran up to InuYasha and started throwing punches. InuYasha dodged all of them.
"Stop it!" Lucy announced.
Suddenly, a dark figure loomed above them.
It looked like a cloud, but I knew that it wasn't just a cloud.
"InuYasha!" I called. I pointed toward the sky. He sniffed.
"Sesshomaru," He growled.
"Can we beat the crap outta him?!" Natsu asked eagerly.
"Be my guest," InuYasha growled.
The cloud like shape hovered down in front of InuYasha. It transformed into what it looked to be Sesshomaru. It had read markings on its head instead of purple. The moon on his head was gone, and even his hair was different. It was dark red.
"Brother," Sesshomaru taunted.
"Sorry excuse as my brother," InuYasha spat.
"Wait, you guys are brothers?" Natsu asked.
Sesshomaru and InuYasha spat, "Unfortunately."
Then, InuYasha sheathed his sword, as did Sesshomaru.
As I watch in agony of who the victor will be, I can't help feeling a sense of dread, I thought.
They clashed swords endlessly. Natsu was helping InuYasha with flames, but mostly getting kicked out by Sesshomaru's poison claws.
Blood was shed, but mostly...
Find out who bled the most in the next chapter. Thanks for reading as always ^~^
