InuYasha's POV

"You're awake," Kagome beamed. "How are your wounds?"
I opened my eyes slightly to find Kagome right in front of me.
"U-uh, yea. They're okay. I'm fine." I stammered. Why am I always such a fool infront of Kagome, I thought silently.
"That's good. It's a good thing we haven't seen Sesshomaru lately since a two days ago." Kagome reassured.
"I've been asleep for two days?!" I exclaimed. "How?!"
"I let you, since I figured that you were tired after that battle with Sesshomaru."
"Yea, I guess so. So did you find your bow?" I asked her.
"Yea, I left it here with my bag," she pointed to the corner of the room where a yellow bag and a bow sat.
"Did you want something to eat?" she asked.
InuYasha's stomach growled. "Sure. You got any Ninja food??!" He asked excitedly.
Kagome laughed. "Noodles or sushi?"
"Hmm...noodles," he chirped.
Kagome pulled out a bag of instant noodles and started to set up a fire. She put water in a pot over the smoldering fire.
Where are Sango and Miroku, I thought. Shouldn't they be here by now? And what happened to Kilala and Shippo?
"In case you're wondering, Kilala, Shippo, Sango and Miroku went back to the village where Lady Oaki is," she said ask if she read his mind. "I have something in case we need them or they need us." She pulled out a card. It was glowing, and it read 'Call Sango or Miroku'.
"Wow...Okay then." I wasn't all that concerned about them, but it's the thought that I have Kagome here with me. It's awkward all the time.
The water started to boil. Kagome dropped the noodles and the seasonings into the pot. I watched her mix the stuff together with a shiny stick she got out of her bag.
"Mm. Doesn't it smell delicious?" she asked.
My mouth started to water. "Yea. Can I have some yet?" I asked eagerly.
"Yep. They're ready. Hold out your bowl," Kagome instructed.
I held out my bowl for her to pour the Ninja food in it. It tasted salty, but it was really good.
"How is it?" She smiled.
"Really good." I said with a full mouth.
Kagome giggled. "I'm glad "

Kagome's POV:
I giggled. "I'm glad."
He kept eating his noodles while I ate mine. He was so adorable when he ate.
"Are you okay Kagome?" he asked.
His voice snapped my attention back. "Oh. Um, yea. I'm okay. Just thinking." I stammered.
"Okay." He yawned, then instantly fell asleep.
Oh InuYasha, I thought, your so adorable when you sleep, too.
I thought about this a bit. If he's asleep...maybe he won't feel it...
I decided to toughen up. We haven't kissed yet, I don't think, I thought. So why not now?
I walked over to where he sat and keeled in front of him.
Here goes nothing.
InuYasha's POV:

(He's dreaming this):
I was dreaming about Sesshomaru and I fighting when I saw Kagome in the background. She was running towards me, arms open for a hug.
"I can't right now, Kagome! I'm about to slay Sesshomaru!" I called.
Instead of a hug, she wrapped her hands around my waist. She had a dreamy, kind of look in her eyes. Then, her face shot forward into mine. She kissed me. Kissed me.
I kissed her back because I didn't want to ruin the moment. The girl I love, actually kissed me. Unbelievable. I mentally pinched myself, and I woke up.
It. Wasn't. A dream.
She was kissing me in real life. Holy shit, this can't be happening, I thought.
"I love you, InuYasha." She whispered.
"I love you too, Kagome." I whispered back.
Then, she murmured," I want to travel towards the Ox Tiger...Sesshomaru was...heading..that..way..." She fell asleep.
I kissed her head lightly. "Okay. Bright and early tomorrow." I said softly.
