They started doing more 'couple' things. Nothing to intimate yet, they weren't that ready, but more dates, they slept in the same room on the same bed, hugging and kissing, that kind of thing. "So... do we even have a kingdom to rule?" Sidney asked Nightmare as they ate breakfast. "something akin... i was actually just thinking on them, actually. our... alliances." She tilted her head. "Alliances?"
"yes. horrortale and fellswap." He said. "i should check on them. especially horrortale... crooks will not be pleased that horror has been captured." Nightmare frowned. "i need to retrieve them yet.. if they will still follow me.. i am not who they knew." She gave him a reassuring smile. "You're even better than the man they knew. They would love you."
"let's not forget that they murder for a living. they may be opposed. the nightmare i am now is not a killer." She tilted her head. "Then why do you want them back?" She asked curiously. He smiled gently. "they were like family... they'd understood what i'd been through... i want to help them, like you helped me." Sidney's smile widened. "Yeah.. I get it."

"horrortale eats humans, you’re not coming with." Nightmare insisted. "I'm the Queen, I should get to see my people." Sidney insisted. "no. as your king, i am ordering you to stay here. it's not safe." Sidney frowned, thinking. "But I got my King to protect me. Please Nighty, it gets stuffy in this castle.." She gave him puppy dog eyes. "..." Nightmare crossed his arms. "it's still a no." Her body sagged. "Whyyyyyy...?"
"cause i'm not letting you get hurrrrt." Nightmare whined back. "i'll take you to fellswap when i'm done in horrortale." He promised. "Yay!" She cheered, happy that she'd be getting out, if only for a little bit.

So she waited while Nightmare went to Horrortale. Being bored, she ended up cleaning up the already clean castle then reading the Nightshade series by Andrea Creamer. She had lunch alone, which she was no longer used to. She didn't like being alone. Not after all that time with Nightmare. "How long do these things take..?" Sidney wondered as she changed into a white turtleneck and black and white deco leggings. She even put on black boots before it hit her. "Where'd Nightmare get clothes and when?" Was it more of his magic?

"Nightmare!" She hugged her husband tightly as soon as he got home. He chuckled. "missed me that much, hm?" Sidney nodded. He frowned. "hey... i'm sorry. i didn't mean to leave you alone that long.."
"I grew dependent of you company you jerk." She grumbled into his outfit. "i... apologize." He said again, hugging her close. "i will refrain from being gone to long if i can help it, ok?" Nightmare promised. "Ok.." Sidney agreed. "are you ready then? we can get out of here if so."
"Yeah.. let's go."

Nightmare still kept Sidney close as they walked through Snowdin. It was an 'oppress or be oppressed' world after all. He didn't want his wife being harmed because of the war that happened a century ago. Fell monsters and their grudges. He sighed quietly. "Is this a date?" Sidney asked suddenly. Nightmare chuckled. "do you want it to be?"
"Yes." Was her immediate reply. "then it is." He hummed. "after business we can go through waterfall and eat at ntt's." She beamed. "Sounds good to me!" The couple headed for the Fellswap Brothers house. Only for them to be attacked by a mini Nightmare in back and red. A bone attack protected them, thankfully, and Nightmare summoned his new weapon, a doubled edged sythe. The shaft was purple with one blade being three times the size of the other. Both held a Cresent moon shape and glowed bright cyan. He swiped the weapon, forcing the Sans away. "well you seem to be doing good. don't touch me or my wife and things will stay that way, razz." The small Nightmare, 'Razz' stopped. "WHAT AU ARE YOU FROM INTRUDER AND HOW DO YOU KNOW MY NAME?" A bewildered look crossed the other skeletons face. "nightmare..?"
"that is correct."
"MWAH! SERIOUSLY?! I HUMBLY APOLOGIZE-"
"it's no matter, just don't do it again."
