It was hard for Sidney to fall asleep that night. There was a dark sense of foreboding if she did sleep, but she couldn't stay awake forever either. So, eventually, much to her own fears, she fell into a fitful nightmare. It was pitch black everywhere she looked. The darkness was so thick, so suffocating. She was reasonably scared... and confused. She wasn't near the king anymore, so was this nightmare of her own violation and fears, or his influence. "smarter than i thought, little pawn." Sindney shrunk in on herself as the barest traces of Nightmare's silhouette appeared in the darkness. "i've attached myself to your negativity, you'll be seeing a lot more of me from now on, pawn. no matter where you go, i'll be there.." He chuckled darkly as his Cyan eye appeared, becoming the only light in the darkness. "how ever shall i amuse myself.. i think you're torture would be fitting.." His chuckles became full blown laughter as she started falling. "W-wait-" The last thing she saw was his amused smirk and half lidded eye socket staring at her from a crouched position.

Sticky, wet.. Stars, what happened? What was she laying in? Sidney groaned, rolling off her back and onto her elbows as she tried to process where she was. Whatever happened before she was here was lost to her, though she knew she'd been scared of something. She looked at the once cyan, tiled floor of the school. It was Red now.. and wet.. and sticky... and widening slowly. Her eyes widened. Blood. It was blood. Her head snapped to the person it belonged to. A child. "No,no,no,no!" She crawled to the long dead child, covering the slit in their neck in a futile attempt to stop the bleeding. Logically, she knew they were already dead, she just couldn't except it. It was all a blur, she couldn't remember what happened, just that she didn't do it, she'd never harm anyone. She looked around the classroom. Where was everyone? Why was there no one here to call the authorities while she helped this child?! "Stay with me, please!" She found herself begging.

"so this is why you're here, hm? what a tragedy, pawn." Fear crawled into her soul, but she refused to leave the child. "they are long dead, and you're about to be too, if you don't run, pawn. i like games, you know." She shook her head. "I'm not leaving them. I'll find their real killer." She stated, blue eyes staring into his. He was taken aback for a moment. Nightmare thought she'd already learned her lesson, but she was being defiant. "you want to know so badly? very well. let me..." He paused, chuckling again. "enlighten you." One of his thick, black tentacles shot towards her head and she found herself teaching. Her words trailed off for a moment as she tried to piece together what happened and what was about to happen. One of the students got up suddenly, approaching the child that would forever be trapped in her head. "Wait-" She ran at the child, Ruby red eyes met with her blue ones, a smile twisted on their pale face, rosy cheeks falsifying their innocence. They slit the child's neck with an unnatural colored knife and Sidney caught them as they were falling. "This was fun, teach, let's do it again another time." She whipped around to stop the child, but something slammed into the back of her head and she blacked out.

"let's do this again another time, you're more interesting than i thought." Sidney couldn't breathe when she first woke up. He soul was pounding in her fear, she thought someone was choking her. There was nothing though. She gasped, after realizing that she was suffocating herself out of fear. Was it always going to be like this now? Was that bit with the red eyed child real? Did one of her own students really kill than frame her for the work? Did it really matter? What could Sidney do about it? She was trapped here. For life. They won. She curled in on herself.

Nightmare POV

I must say, that was not exactly what I expected. Usually it was Frisk that Chara framed, nobody else. Had they grown bored of playing with Frisk? Why this human then? She was a piss poor replacement. She was to AFRAID to do anything. All she was doing was feeding my power. Once I leave this place I may take her so I can have more of her FEAR. Yet... that defiance was unexpected. Perhaps there is something more to that human than what I thought. My tentacles twitched. I was actually a tad curious to learn more about her. What was her soul trait? Why can't I tell? Even when she was centimeters from this damned cage, I couldn't tell what her soul trait was as I normally could. Was it the cell or her?
