"Nightmare Jr. Did you eat Error's chocolate?" Sidney down at a wide eyed skeleton toddler who shook his head despite the evidence all over his face and fingers. Large electric blue eyelights stared as he held an amazing poker face. "nightmare jr.." Nightmare looked down disapprovingly at his son. "if you did not eat the chocolate, what is all over your face?" Nightmare Jr merely shrugged. "If your honest with us now and you apologize, we can go play with Fierce and Iris." Sidney bargained. "after a timeout." Nightmare grumbled to which she nodded in agreement. Nightmare Jr hesitated. "I ate Err's chocolate." He admitted. She nodded and picked Nightmare Jr up. "I'm going to get you cleaned up now, then you are going to stand in a corner and think about what you did and why in your in timeout. Once I've called Lilly and Horror, we'll see about you playing with their girls." Nightmare Jr whined but knew better than to fight against his parents. He let his mother wash him up and he went into a corner as his father called his friends parents. The toddler was left to ponder what he'd done. He suspected that it wasn't about the chocolate.

Nightmare Jr ran after Fierce, Horror and Taylor's daughter, and Iris, Lilly and Dust's daughter. "how's little nightmare jr doing?" Horror asked as he kept an eye on the kids. "he got in trouble for stealing and lying about it." Nightmare sighed. Raising a child was hard work. "how's fierce?"
"She bites. Hard." Taylor replied to which his mate patted his hand. "And Iris?" Dust and Lilly shrugged. "She's an angel." They didn't have difficulty with the tiny tot. "glad someone is having a great parenting experience.." Nightmare chuckled to himself. "well you are raising the second embodiment of negativity ever." Killer said, rocking his baby, Dice. They didn't ask why Dice. "that's... true." Nightmare agreed. "Well, Nightmare Jr is MY baby boy and I love hi- NIGHTMARE JR DON'T EAT THAT!!!" Sidney scrambled away to take way something or another. "error at the anti again?"
"The souling is kicking Error's metaphorical as-butt." Taylor replied, eyeing Dice and Killer. The latter looked ready to murder for the near slip of the tounge. It was a good thing Taylor caught himself. Killer with emotions was unpredictable.

The children played and played until late Nightmare picked up his tired son as Horror and Dust did the same with their daughter's. Nightmare Jr's little phalanges curled around the fabric of Nightmare's jacket as he hugged his dad close. It was moments like these that made being a parent totally worth it as his son murmured, "daddy.." Nightmare smiled lovingly at his son and Sidney took Nightmare's free hand. Hand in hand, they walked to the place their family called home. This was Nightmare's happy ending.
