A tentacle slipped through the slot again. She'll learn true fear. She'll bow to him or die. The tentacle squirmed towards an unsuspecting Sidney. It wrapped around her legs and jerked her up into the air. She screamed, startled. "i don't think you know the position you're in, human. i am the king. i control you, pawn." Nightmare seethed. She shivered. He knew how to sound intimidating, how to act like a monster, but she could still see the truth. The sadness. The pain. "You are the one locked up though." Nightmare snarled, slamming her into his door. She cried out in pain. "don't be smart with me, woman!" Another tentacle slipped through, wrapping around her throat, constricting her airway. "i've killed people for a lot less than this. i won't hesitate to kill you too, if you don't listen." Nightmare shoved her to the ground. "bow to your king, now." He let go, allowing her to take much needed breaths of air. Sidney was throughly afraid now. The King of Negativity could feel it. "good girl. know your place. you will listen now?"
"Y-yes, your majesty.. I'll listen.." Sans had been right. She shouldn't have gotten involved with him..

"from now on, you'll obey me." Sidney nodded. "speak up!" He roared. "Yes!" She didn't dare move. She didn't want to die here. "good, very good. from now on, you are my source of power. i can't feel the negativity of anyone else in this cage. you're just close enough. sleep, little pawn." She laid back down. She wanted far away from this thing now. He was absolutely terrifying. She highly doubted she'd be able to sleep. Hell if she didn't try though. She wasn't going to piss him off again. Why did he act like this? Was it because someone hurt him? He was in pain himself, but that was no reason to hurt others. Why was he so sad? Was it because he was caught, or has he been sad for longer than this? Stars dammit, now she was curious again. Didn't mean she still wasn't afraid. She was looking forward to getting the hell out of here tomorrow. She didn't care if she got in trouble anymore, she just wanted to be gone, unable for him to reach like everyone else. "you're taking to long." I tentacle surged towards her. "sleep." With a bit of his magic, Sidney was out like a dying light.

She gasped awake from her nightmare. How'd he- "thank stars your awake, i was afraid he'd killed you, ms. wish." She was in the prison infirmary, a yellow clad skeleton that looked like Sans in some ways sat beside her. "i'm sure you know now why we keep him away from others." She realized she'd seen him before. He'd lead Nightmare in here, imprisoned him here. "ms. wish?" He was starting to look concerned by her lack of response. "what'd he do to you..?" She sighed. It was ok now, she was nowhere near him now. "Thank you for getting me out of there. I'm sorry for going inside, that was stupid of me.." She apologized immediately. "curiosity is a dangerous thing.. i'm just glad you're ok.. or as ok as you can get meeting nightmare."
"I'm going to assume you know me already." She looked to the skeleton. "sidney wish, charged with 1st degree murder of a minor. you don't seem like a murderer." She looked away. "I'm not. Tell that to the feds though." He sighed, sitting up a little. "i'm dream, by the way."

Dream brought Sidney to her cell. "one more thing. i'm going to set you up for therapy. i'm sure meeting nightmare wasn't at all pleasant or good for your mental health. is this ok?" Sidney nodded. "I'll probably benefit from it after.. last night.." Dream gave her a sympathetic smile. "well have a good day, ms. wish."
"You as well, Dream." He closed you in. "recover." She nodded. "I will." She never felt so relieved to be in her cell.
