"... and peace was finally brought to the land. the evil witch was no more. the kingdom lived happily ever after. the end. Nightmare closed the book he'd been reading out loud to everyone and, well, they'd ALL fallen asleep. Even Sidney was curled cutely into his lap. Mafia had left about a week ago. He'd actually enjoyed his time in the castle and other Sans had come to explore it since then. Just like in the story, the Multiverse was finally at peace and Nightmare was finally getting his happily ever after. He was bullied no longer, he had his brother back, the people he considered family back, a beautiful wife... it was finally perfect. He'd even recently been trying to revive the Tree of Feelings with Dream. To be able to bring back his dead AU for them all to live in... that's his goal for the future and his family. Nightmare pulled Sidney closer, teleporting them to their room so he could tuck her in. "good night, queenie. i love you.." He kissed the top of her head and went to Dreamtale try and fix the damage that he'd done.

Dream was already waiting for him with a bright smile on his face. "hey nightmare! i got some positivity seeds!" Dream said triumphantly. "and i have plenty of negativity seeds. now let's see if this works." Nightmare replied as he stood beside his brother. "i know the tree is the main goal... but if we do revive the tree, do you think that will revive mother in extention..?" Dream asked as the boys crouched to dig a hole." Nightmare didn't know. "perhaps. is that deep enough?" Dream peeked in the hole. "i think so? does positivity go first or negativity?" Nightmare gave him the 'boi I don't freaking know!' look and sighed. "how about we put two seeds of positivity and two seeds of negativity in at the same time?" Dream agreed. So the seeds were carefully placed in and Nightmare buried them. Dream poured some water out onto the dirt and they waited... "nothings happening.." Dream said, disappointed. "it's a tree. it will take awhile to grow." Nightmare pointed out. "it's a magic tree. it probably needs magic too. like a boost or something." Nightmare sighed and agreed, if only to make Dream happy. "ok then. we'll feed it some of our magic."

The boys pressed their phalanges into the dirt. "remember that their should be balance between our magic. it is the tree of feelings." Dream nodded. "ready." Nightmare nodded approvingly. "on the count of three then. one. two. three!" They both poured a fairly large portion of their magic into the ground then waited. Dream started to look disappointed again. "i was really hoping that would work.."
"i know, i know. it make take tim-" He cut himself off noticing that the once dead grass was turning green.. and at a fast rate too. Nightmare looked at where the tree was planted. Nothing yet. "dream, we definitely did something." Nightmare stated as he looked at the sky. The red the sky had become was changing too. It was purpling, fading, looking more like- "stars? how long has it been since dreamtale had a night?" Dream gasped, drawing Nightmare's attention. The tree was sprouting now, a little green sapling. "it worked... it worked!!!" Dream tackled him into a hug. He tried not to crush the still growing sapling. "we did it, we did it, we did it!!!" Nightmare tried to give himself room to breathe. "i-i heard you the first hundred times.."

Nightmare woke Sidney and gathered his family in the living room. "i have an announcement. we will no longer be living here in the castle. i'm taking it down as soon as we settle in our new home." Sidney looked at her husband in surprise. "What?!"
"where are we moving, boss?" Dust asked. "with the star, er, ink and dream?" Killer asked. "well, dream will be there." Nightmare said. "y-ye-ah.. i-i am go-ing t-to the a-an-nti-voi-oid." Error grabbed Izik's hand and they left. "is it that bad to live with my brother..?" Nightmare asked. "Nah, I just don't think Error wants to face Ink yet. Where are we living now?" Sidney asked. Nightmare opened a portal. "see for yourself." The group walked through, gawking. "b-boss... what is this place?"
"welcome to dreamtale!" Dream replied for Nightmare. "Oh my stars! Is that.."
"the tree of feelings, yes." They all started at a full grown tree, now growing gold and black apples. "how much magic did we pump into that tree?!" Nightmare asked. "more than enough, apparently." Dream replied, smiling wide. "welcome home, everyone." Nightmare gestured towards the once burned down village. The brothers had rebuilt it for everyone to live in.
