Y/N, Laura and Vera are currently in school. It has been a long day, they are just waiting for the last lesson to end...

"This is so boring" Vera whispers, looking like she's about to fall asleep.

Laura silences her yawn by covering her mouth with her hand.

"I agree. If he doesn't finish talking soon, then I might actually fall asleep..." she mutters, rubbing her eyes.

Y/N nods, trying her best to focus on what the teacher is saying. She has given up on taking notes as the teacher is simply explaining way too much.

After what feels like an eternity, the teacher finally dismisses the class.

"That is all for today. Remember to read page thirty-five to sixty-one before the next lesson" the male teacher states.

All the students groan. Not more homework.

Y/N sighs. The lesson would have been more interesting if Snape was teaching...

As they are leaving the classroom, Laura smirks. "Thinking about Snape, huh?" she teases.

Y/N blushes at that. "Since when did you become a Legilimens?" she questions.

Laura snorts. "Please, it's written all over your face who you are thinking about" she says.

Vera can't help but laugh. "To be fair, you do look a certain way when you think about him" she states, trying to stop laughing.

Y/N's cheeks turn redder. "I-I do?" she asks, looking embarrassed. Both girls nod while Laura is still smirking.

As they leave the building, they start to walk their way home. They however stop moving as they notice a person standing still in the middle of the parking lot.

They aren't moving at all, almost as if they are frozen in time.

"That's weird, do you guys think they are okay?" Vera asks, looking confused. So do Laura and Y/N.

"No idea, should we talk to them?" Y/N suggests.

Laura shrugs. "I'm sure it's nothing. I mean, what could possibly be wrong? They are probably just lost in thought..." she says, though not completely sure either.

Shrugging it off, the girls decide to ignore it as they continue to walk home.

Unbeknownst to them, strange things are happening in the Wizarding World, too.

At Hogwarts, all the lessons have just ended as well. It's dinner time as all the professors and students are heading towards the Great Hall.

As they enter, they are all shocked to see the state of the room - all the decorations have been destroyed, all the tables have been pushed so the surfaces are touching the ground, and it looks like the Christmas tree has been blown up...

It's almost as if a tornado came by.

"Bloody hell, what happened here?" Ron loudly exclaims, looking absolutely in shock.

"I have no idea, Ron. But it doesn't look good" Harry says, looking worried just like Hermione.

McGonagall looks quite concerned. "Albus, what should we do?" she asks the Headmaster.

"I believe we should find out what happened here. But first, we need to calm down the students" Dumbledore  says, looking at all the worried students.

Snape sighs. "I will grab a few Calming Draught Potions" he announces before leaving and heading towards the Potions classroom.

Once he does so, he strolls towards the storage room only to stop immediately. He widens his eyes - somebody has shattered ALL the potions as well as ALL the ingredients.

He curses under his breath. Who in Merlin's name did this? Do they have any idea how expensive potion ingredients are?!

Meanwhile at Malfoy Manor, dinner is being prepared by the house elves while Lucius and Narcissa are in the living room, sipping on a glass of firewhiskey.

Putting down his glass, Lucius then rises from his seat.

"Where are you going, Lucius?" Narcissa asks her husband.

"I will just check on the baby peacock. We still need to give her a name, by the way" he says as chuckles.

Narcissa chuckles as well. They have been thinking of a few names, but they simply can't decide. They might let Y/N pick one.

Lucius then leaves the living room to enter the garden. Once he's outside, he notices the peacocks acting strange.

What's going on? They seem quite worried.

He slowly approaches them. "What's going on here, hmm?" he gently asks the animals.

He however immediately stops in his tracks when he notices what's wrong. No. No, no, no! Lucius falls to his knees, trying not to cry.

The peacock baby... She's gone! Somebody must have taken her!

"NOOO!!!" he yells from the top of his lungs.

As he starts sobbing, Narcissa immediately runs towards the garden.

"Lucius, what's wrong?" she asks, sounding concerned.

She widens her eyes when she notices the absence of the small animal.

"No..." she whispers, falling to her knees beside her husband.

What kind of monster would do such a horrible thing to kidnap a baby peacock?
