The glow spread from Ana's chest to her entire body, the magic surging through every fiber of her being. Ben was putting in as much energy as every cell in his body could produce, down to his last breath.

The ground shook, and every other person in the room held on to whatever they could grab to keep themselves standing. No one could tell whether what they were feeling was the radiation of Ben's powers or the room being on the verge of exploding due to the amount of power in such a compact space. Either way, the hospital was probably taking safety protocol for an 'earth quake.'

Ana's body absorbed the magic with ease at first, allowing it to course through her veins and rejuvenate her whole system. She began to quake along with her surroundings and started screaming as the threads of light merged with her scars, erasing them.

She screamed so loud, everyone except Ben covered their ears. But it wasn't enough to keep their ears from ringing and to avoid her echoing screams.

Ben began to shake, wringing out the very last of his energy and giving it all up for her. At this point, it was a miracle he could even stand since he was practically giving her his life. He let out a loud moan of agony, attempting to accept the now painful exchange between him and Ana.

As the screaming digressed, Ana now down to a whimper and Ben heaving, the light started dimming down to something somewhat tolerable to the eye. The ground slowly stilled again as well. Cam got a better look at Ana, watching her scars and bruises slowly disappearing. As the purple bruises faded back to her tan skin, he realized how stupid their hasty decision was. If a nurse and doctor come back to see her miraculously healed, they may take her away for more testing. No explanation they give will be plausible enough for them to simply let her go.

"Ben, wait! Stop!" Cam shouted at him, but it was too late to reverse anything.

He gave off one last spark, which caused an explosion of light, sparks, magic, and force to boom in front of him. It caused the other casters to be thrown against the wall, feeling the very last of the forces radiate throughout the room before disappearing instantly.

Everyone fell to the ground, except Ana who was already lying down on her hospital bed. Ben was passed out on the floor and everyone was groaning from the blow of the mini cosmic explosion that just happened in the room. They felt like they had just been punched in the chest.

Everyone groaned as they got up, except for Ben who just laid on the floor looking lifeless.

"Is everyone alright?" Peter asked.

More groaning came from their mouths before anyone let out a valid response.

"Not everyone," Arrianne stated, looking at Ben's body on the floor.

"Ben! Oh my God!" Carly said, rushing to his side. She took him in her arms and tried to shake him awake, but no luck. She put her ear against his chest, listening for a heartbeat. Nothing.

"No, no, no, you can NOT fucking die! Don't you dare leave me, Ben! Don't you do this to us!" Carly was hysterical.
She had tears of rage and frustration streaming down her face, followed by red painting her cheeks.

"Peter, do something! Electrocute him, jumpstart his heart!" She yelled.
Peter rushed to her side and laid him on the floor, placing his fingers on Ben's temples and making circular motions to jump start his electrical current. He slowly parted his fingers from him, sparks of electricity becoming the only connection between them. He started hovering his hands over Ben's chest and makes his current stronger, more and more sparks appearing at his palms and fingertips.

When it begins to look like a microscopic thunderstorm, he slams both of his hands against Ben's chest.

Ben's body jolted as the sparks coursed through his muscles and jumpstarted his heart.
