My phone rang the minute I got home from school. It was a Thursday and I was suppose to be training with Peter today.
"Hello?" I answered.
"Ana, hey. I'll be there in twenty minutes. We're going somewhere a little different today," he said.
"Okay. Should I bring anything?"
"Just change into something comfortable. And no metal in your clothing."
"Okay?"
"Great, see you soon."
As I hung up, I idly wondered where we would go. It clearly wasn't the caster library, but I couldn't think of anywhere else we'd go without being seen.
I changed out of my dress and into some black tights and a blue tank top. I switched from my ballet flats to some running shoes. I don't know why I dressed up as if I'm going to the gym, but he did say where something comfortable.
My phone pinged with a text notifying me of Peter's arrival. I rushed downstairs and quickly jotted down another note for my parents. Since my training, I've been telling them that I go to the Brew to study or the library. And it technically wasn't a lie, I was studying in a way.
I got into Peter's black Hearse and we were off. About ten minutes into the drive, my imagination had run off to the most convoluted ideas and I decided to silence them once and for all.
"So where are we going anyways?" I asked.
"Promise you won't freak out?"
I raised my eyebrows and widened my eyes in fear.
"Ummm . . . No promises," I said hesitantly, shaking my head.
He sighed.
"Okay, I'll tell you. It's an abandoned warehouse. But I promise it's not what you think," he quickly added the last sentence in an attempt to reassure me.
"And what is there to think?" I asked, laughing at myself nervously. "Oh my God, Peter, please tell me you're not trying to kill me," I said humorously, whipping my face towards him.
He smiled, lightening up a bit.
"No, no. I left my rope and cable ties at home," he joked and gave me a salacious smile.
"Somebody's a serial killer," I sang, holding out the last word as long as I could without laughing.
"Who said I would kill you? How do you know if it's meant for torture?" He asked, then gave me a salacious smile.
I gasped dramatically."Peter! I have a boyfriend."
We both burst into laughter at his promiscuous reference.
"Okay, Christian Grey, so where are you really taking me?" I asked, my stomach still hurting from our little joke.
"Oh, I was serious. We are going to an abandoned warehouse."
"Why though? And don't tell me it's because you have a sex dungeon or something."
He laughed once more.
"It's the best place to test your abilities, electrical and telekinetic. You'll see why."

We've been driving for forty five minutes when we reach the abandoned warehouse. It was two story and was old and boarded up. We parked in front of what looked like two doors to a barn.
Peter and I got out and pulled the doors open with enough space to get us through. The room was pitch black until Peter touched the light switch with his fingertips. Fluorescent lights began to flicker.
