"I'm glad your feeling better," Ryan said. "It feels like it's been forever since we've hung out together."

"I know. I'm sorry, I've just been really busy," Ana said.

The girls were sitting on Ana's bed surrounded by textbooks, notes, and flash cards. Ana and Ryan were suppose to be studying for there math test. Instead, the two ladies were playing hangman in Ryan's math notebook as a little study break.

"I get it. Ben's awesome and it was really cool of him and his friends to see you in the hospital like that. I'm just glad they know how great you are," Ryan said sincerely.

"You have no idea," Ana gave a secret smile.

"Okay. Ummm, is there an R?"

"Yeah."

So far in there game, Ryan has guessed two A's, one U, one W, an N and an R. Hangman already has his head, body and one arm.

"Can I ask you something?" Ryan asked.

"Of course. Always."

"It's not that I don't like the way they treat you, I do. But they seemed to have liked you pretty quickly. I mean it's not that they shouldn't, but . . ." She shook her head, "It's just . . . I don't know, odd how quickly they came to the hospital that night. I mean they just met you."

Ana's mind quickly went into panic mode. She was afraid that Ryan was getting too close, and the last thing she needed was her finding out about her new, secret life.

"Where's this coming from?" Ana asked, trying to throw her off, "Are you jealous or something? Because you have no reason to be."

"No! I just-I feel like I'm missing something here and I want to know what it is."

Ryan looked at her, grey-blue eyes demanding the truth. Ana looked at her with a soft gaze of concern.

"Ryan, if there was something going on, don't you think I'd tell you what you need to know?"

"And what exactly is that? Hmm? What do I need to know?" She challenged.
Ana sighed.

"Nothing. That's the point, you're jumping to conclusions over nothing."
Ryan looked down at there game of hangman.

"Y."

"Why what?" Ana asked, slightly annoyed.

"Y is my next guess."

Ana filled the in two spaces with the letter. There was one letter left.

"Runaway Baby," Ryan said. "I win."

"Congrats," Ana said in a monotone.

"I'm tired, I think I'll change into my PJ's."

"Okay, I'll clean up. You know where the bathroom is."

The rest of their night was spent in silence, watching Mean Girls and the Leonardo DiCaprio version of The Great Gatsby. Aside from a few laughs, gasps, and quoting some of the lines, they didn't speak at all. The most they've talked since their game of Hangman was a simple "Goodnight" to each other before they slept.

"What were you doing in the warehouse?" Sherif Carter asked.

"I was sent to go there by someone anonymous. They sent me a letter with the address and threatened to kill me if I didn't go," Arrianne answered.

"Do you still have the note?"

"I did. I brought it with me. Unfortunately, I dropped it in the puddle of blood I found myself standing in."
