Bodies. Bodies piled up in the center of Ana's living room. But they weren't random people. Each person saw something different.

Ana saw the bodies of her tormentors from when she was younger. Their heads bleeding, only this time, there was blood everywhere and they were lifeless.

Carly saw all of the men she had been with in her past lives. They meant nothing to her at the time, but she would always put safeguarding spells on them to be sure they wouldn't be harmed-she feared that if they were to die or fall for her after their one night stand, she would be somewhat responsible. She saw their bodies completely burned, none of their faces to be recognized anymore.

Ben saw his old friends from his past lifetimes. He befriended humans up to his late twenties and would secretly watch over them. He found comfort and sometimes solace in humans, who's problems seem so small compared to his world. He grew fond of them the way a grandparent did a child. Even though he knew they'd die, the thought still didn't settle with him. Especially with the image of them being torn limb from limb right before his eyes.

Peter's was the worst one of all. He saw all the powerhouses who were hung in the Salem Witch Trial and ten others from the Mongol Invasion or as he knows it, the Powerhouse Massacre. Their bodies laid pale and cold with slashed throats and bite marks at the wrists, as if they had just been drained only moments ago.

The only thing that they all saw at the same time that was real was a note in front of the bodies.

Get well soon. I didn't have flowers.

Ana walked towards the pile and reached out to touch one of the bodies. She had to make sure she wasn't hallucinating from the painkillers.
She reached out to touch one of their hands only to find it dissolve in a black smoke. Suddenly, all of the bodies disintegrated into ash.

The ash began to materialize into a black smoke that formed into the shape of a face. The face began to speak in a deep, menacing voice.

"This is your warning," the projection said, "If she is not handed over soon, there will be war. And the casualties will be much more brutal."

Followed by a sinister laugh, the figure faded into thin air. Ana turned to face Ben, Carly and Peter. They all shared a look merged from anger, worry, and fear, which gave them creased foreheads and mouths pressed into hard lines.

"War. There will be war," Ana said worriedly.

"This war started when you were hit by that truck," Peter spat.

"We won't let him get away with this," Carly said, "The nerve of him to threaten you in your own home."

"I'm gonna enjoy ending his demonic soul," Ben said menacingly. It was enough to put fear in Ana's eyes.

"You guys, stop. This is exactly what he wants. He's gonna make you watch your backs for him to the point of frustration and he'll use that against you. He's using your hatred against you," Ana stated worriedly.

They stood silent.

"Don't give him what he wants. I'll turn myself in if I-"

"No Ana! You are NOT turning yourself in," Peter says sternly.

"We can't just do nothing!" she argued.

"And we're not going to. But you're right, we can't give in to our uncertainty," Ben says.

"So now what? We wait and see? Again?" Carly asks.

"No. This time, we make sure Ana can defend herself," Peter answers.

"How?" Ana asks.

"We're all gonna train you. Teach you how to use all of our powers. That way we'll have an advantage," Peter says in a clipped tone.
