ᴇᴠᴇʀ ᴛʀɪᴇᴅ ꜱʟᴇᴇᴘɪɴɢ ᴜᴘꜱɪᴅᴇ ᴅᴏᴡɴ?

Uzi was monitoring her surroundings; she saw nothing but black everywhere it was all so empty. With no other option, she started walking forward aimlessly strolling through the dark. At first, she saw nothing. But soon she felt a presence behind her and when she turned around, she saw a bright pink light and ran towards it.

The closer she got the more she could make out a figure of a woman. Slowly more features became clear. Her hair was long and whitish pink.

She could see the waves in her hair as the lady slowly turned towards her. That's when she saw her eyes.

The lady's eyes were unlike anything Uzi had ever seen. They were bright neon pink and in the center were white hearts, but most of all the strangest thing was her eyelashes. They weren't real eyelashes, of course, only appearing on her visor, and like her hearts they were white. But Uzi was still curious how a drone could have such features and that wasn't even the end of it; they were dropped down giving her a sleepy look.

Her eyes widened when she saw Uzi—now that she was looking at her fully. And Uzi saw more of her features like how her lips were bright pink wearing some sort of lipstick, another thing Uzi didn't know about, and her cheeks were blushed. Then she spoke in a very light, almost motherly voice saying, "It's you."

That's when Uzi woke up, she was surprised by what she had seen and even more surprised when she found herself in N's grasp.

Even though she had always acted very unfazed there were plenty of things that bothered like when N drank from a worker drone in front of her one time and right-suspended her upside down. Though it's not like other drones in her place wouldn't have panicked and screamed for their lives, they were lying on the floor only to wake up in the arms of a Disassembly drone.

Naturally, she panicked frantically trying to pull away from N's grasp, but his arms were locked and by moving around haphazardly she'd triggered a defensive response.

The blow had made him relax his grip, causing him to drop Uzi and while she would've hit her head on the ground below N quickly dropped as well following her, N caught her in an instant and swiftly twisted her and himself so they wouldn't feel the impact of the fall. Uzi was dazed at how N managed to pull off the feat so easily since he was very clumsy the first time they met.

N meanwhile was scanning the room for danger he extended his wings and claws the second they hit the ground preparing for an attack against V. His eye know an infamous X was scanning for a few minutes but he relaxed when the danger came blinking his eye back to normal. He stood up looking at Uzi.

"Uh, Uzi..." He said, "Why'd  you wake me up?" His head was still scanning the room frantically looking around.

This whole time he hadn't let Uzi go as she was being smothered by him, she said very calmly yet very angrily "Put me down first." Realizing what he was doing he slowly put her down letting out a nervous chuckle "Hehe Ahhh sorry Uzi."

"Good know- Why were you clingy to me like that?!" Uzi said her arms crossed and she pouted N was taken aback by this not sure why she was so upset. His face sparked with embarrassment "I...I was just." As he spoke Uzi's eyes narrowed as N grew more and more nervous as he looked down and started twiddling his index fingers. "I was just trying to protect you."

Uzi was surprised by his response but even more, she was skeptical "Protect me? From what? I mean J's dead and V's still tied up!" She paused as she remembered N had a crush on V.

"Right?!" She asked darting around the room N held his arms up and quickly said "Of course, obviously she's still tied up but- "N trailed off as Uzi started to get worried. "But what?"

"But she's still pretty strong," N recalled their last battle while he was able to defeat her using a trick he knew when- IF he had to fight her again it would not be so easy and even though Uzi proved to be cunning, he knew physically it wouldn't take much to overpower Uzi. Combined with his acute hearing picking up all her threats behind her confined room and being very close to her door N couldn't help but worry.
