After Uzi swears to kill all humans, she knew she had to fix the landing pod, in fact, she'd make it her life's mission to fix it, for the satisfaction of wiping out the gods who abandoned her and seeing the endless void that is outer space. Of course, she had an even bigger problem and that was coming to terms with her situation.

She had just exiled herself to an empty snowy landscape with no tools, no weapons, and no one to help her except N.

The first thing she would do was walk back towards N. She wasn't in the colony anymore so she needed all the friends she could get. Getting closer to him, she could hear V cursing her name and threatening her.

Uzi tried to ignore her with all her might, "So what are we going to do about her?" They definitely have to move her somewhere. "Well, there is one place we could go." N turned around and started walking, dragging V along with him. "Follow me!"

They were inside a deserted factory but upon closer inspection, she could see the arm of a worker drone and more pieces like a torso or a leg that seemed to be scattered on the conveyor belt. Piecing it all together she figured out where they were.

'This is the abandoned worker drone factory.' She stopped walking when she saw a giant machine that she was familiar with, a neural network converger. These machines were the reason she was alive. She wondered if her mother was made here. She must have been staring at the machine for a while because N was calling her name. Uzi made her way around the rusty pipes toward N. Despite living here the place was pretty dirty, dust was everywhere and Uzi stepped in something icky cringing as she took a step back. "Housework doesn't kill you by any chance does it?"

N rubbed the back of his head and gave a bit of a nervous laugh "yeah sorry we uh... never really stayed here that long so we didn't really feel like cleaning up the place."

They both were standing in front of a blue door. The paint has mostly faded off and the sign on the door was rusted and tilted, it read Storage room #12.

N dragged V inside the room. She tried fighting back kicking and screaming but he managed to get her inside the room with only a few scratches. The room was cramped being filled with boxes and the light was flickering on and off. "I swear if you leave me in here,..." He closed the door whispering. "Sorry." As V started shouting again louder this time so loud after they started walking away they could still faintly hear her threatening them.

-----

There were several rooms inside this place. N opened each door, and it seemed they were all dirty or cramped each seemingly more disgusting and claustrophobia-inducing than the last. But then they reached a room with a red door. It was surprisingly vibrant, the paint looked fresh and the door didn't appear to have a scratch on it. Even the knob looked nice; it was shiny and gold like it had just been polished. Uzi could have sworn it even smelled nice having this floral scent lingering in the air. That was probably her imagination though.

N grabbed the doorknob and smiled at Uzi "This is one of my favorite rooms." When he opened the door it wasn't much, it was clean looking unlike the rooms, but very empty that is until Uzi looked in the corner of the room.

There were bright beautiful flowers growing from a small patch of soil. Their stems were thin, their leaves were heart-shaped, and the petals were shaped like trumpets. Uzi carefully touched the petals; they were soft and smelled very sweet.

Uzi stared at the flowers, asking N where he got them from he said they were growing around the human's apartment. Seeing the flowers, he felt happy. They looked so peaceful and bright compared to his surroundings, which were bleak and endless.

N realized his love of his flowers was considered abnormal for a murder drone as J would crush them without paying any mind, and insulted N telling him he should spend more time hunting and less time on something so insignificant and V didn't really understand this hobby. So he hid the flowers in secret. He never understood why but keeping flowers safe just felt right. Could it have been that he didn't want things like this to be forgotten?

Without knowing he had a flashback only snapping out of it when Uzi speaks up "They're really pretty aren't they?" N nodded, happy he found someone else who enjoys his hobby.

Uzi came back with some cleaning supplies from a supply closet that was also dirty. She spent half an hour cleaning spray bottles with the same spray bottles. She showed N how to clean up some of the basic stuff like the rust on the machines, and how to use a duster, a broom, and even a rag. It was clear he didn't clean the room with the flowers in it seeing how he barely knew how to use a broom. But in the midst of cleaning the rooms, some things caught Uzi off guard like how disgusting the food was. Uzi didn't eat things like food being a drone in all. So she had no idea that it could rot or smell so horrid.

The trash was taken outside and Uzi had the bright idea to blow it up with N's help. With his gun arm thingy, the trash was taken out. Afterward, they couldn't agree on what to put in the room at first but after looking at the jars they decided it could be a spare parts room.

The next room wasn't as gross it was a living room of sorts. There was a sofa and a TV which were broken and practically useless and a small stack of books. Most were full of pictures, long complex subjects; such as science and psychology, and then a few magazines.

After they finished cleaning all the dust in the room they decided to rest finally satisfied with their progress. N was flipping through a magazine, while Uzi was looking through a hard book written about an invincible wizard. She was more into sci-fi than fantasy but the darker elements made the book a real page-turner.

Once he reached the end of a magazine N picked up a picture book about flowers. The cover looked pretty so he decided to read it. Inside he found the name of the flowers he had gathered. They were called Morning Glory. Uzi was still very concentrated on her book but N knew how to get her attention by pouncing on her.

She looked a little annoyed at being interrupted but she quickly turned her attention to the book N was reading. Reading the description she learned that these flowers can grow in intense radiation and survive extreme weather like brutal winter.

She was so fascinated by the discovery that she put the other book down. She was interested in the flowers but seemed to skip over the pages looking for flowers that can survive on the planet, as well as some poisonous ones. After skimming it didn't take long to finish reading the book but without realizing it the two spent so much time cleaning that the sun went down.

-----

Realizing there weren't any beds around the two went scavenging in the human's apartments trying to find a mattress that wasn't moldy or gross. It took them a while but was worth it in the end. Though carrying a bed from three stories and then a few several feet through a constant snowy terrain was a real pain.

Honestly, if it wasn't for N's horrifying strength Uzi would probably spend the whole night getting it down to the ground.

Exhausted from cleaning and lugging heavy stuff all day she finally settled into the mattress. Slowly she was slipping into recharge meanwhile N was still full of energy so he decided he would still go scavenge for stuff in the human's apartment. "Sure N I'm just going to..." Uzi fell asleep instantly.

To be honest there wasn't much just basic stuff like paper, tools, and spare parts. He stored them all in the kitchen and before that, he asked if V wanted anything from this collection of junk. The answer was an obvious no followed by a threat so N left upset that V was unhappy and went to check on Uzi and then the flowers. He had decided Uzi should sleep in the flower room. Happy that he had a friend he could share things with he flew up to the rafters getting ready to recharge himself.
