𝟷𝟸 𝙷𝙾𝚄𝚁𝚂

"Ready?" Bruce asks coming to the foot of my bed. Closing my eye and taking a few breaths I nod my head. "Yeah. I'm ready." Slowly Bruce begins to push the serum through the IV and into my body.

No turning back now.

Instantly I feel the burning sensation rush from my left arm initially spreading quickly through my body then subsiding.

"Well that wasn't so bad." I joked looking over to Ivy and Dan who were experiencing the same initial effect. "Piece of cake." I say again leaning back in my bed placing both hand behind my head. "Ahh this is the life." I turn to face Ivy who just rolls her eyes.

"Oh come on, it's gonna be a long 24 hours we need to relax." I state trying to make good of this weird situation.

**THIRD PERSON POV**

Placing her phone in her back pocket Sharon makes her way into the medical bay to have a briefing from Tony and Bruce.

"Mr Stark, Dr Banner." She nods walking over to them by the computer system.

"Agent Carter, thanks again for doing this."

"Don't mention it. Just tell me what to do."

"Okay, so all three have now been injected with the serum. You'll need to monitor them as closely as you can throughout the next 24 hours. We can all take shifts but if I can put you on lead for this?"

"Absolutely Dr Banner. I'll stay the whole 24 hours."

"Great. Now we're unsure of what the side effects could be for this but we're looking for the usual high temp, low temp, fever, cold sweats that kind of thing."

"Anything else?"

"Maybe try and keep the atmosphere as none stressful as possible. Make sure they try and remain calm and relaxed."

"I think I can manage that." She smiles taking her blazer off and grabbing a coffee for the small dispenser in the corner of the room.

Once they're all set they make their way into the large open bays to inform the y/l/n's of the situation.

**Y/N POV**

"Why is she here?" I scoff rolling my eyes folding my arms over my chest.

"Y/N! Don't be so rude." My older brother shouts across the way.

"Don't worry about it. It's fine." Sharon reassures making her way over to me. "Tony seriously why is she here?" I groan sticking my bottom lip out slightly.

"She's the lead on this. So play nice."

"Whatever." I mutter to myself shaking my head.

"Think of it as team building. It's going to be a long 24 hours y/n so you might as well try and enjoy it." Tony scolds me slightly before heading out with Bruce.

"Fine." I look up the face Sharon and flash a smile but I know she knows it's not genuine. Tony and Bruce disperse from the medical bay leaving Sharon and us alone.

"So y/n gonna tell us how you got that mark!?" Ivy whisper shouts climbing out of the bed wheeling her monitor with her whilst she comes over.

"Ivy will you shut it." I say through gritted teeth looking behind to make sure Dan didn't hear.

"What?" She asks oblivious to the awkwardness in the room. "It's just I know a love bite when I see one, so come on who gave it to you?" I look downwards to my hands beginning to twitch them as I feel my sisters and Sharon's gaze on me.
