Working hard Bucky and I continue my plans trying to make everything perfect.

"Right okay that's the last of the lights Steve, I think you're all set."
Looking around at the romantically lit rooftop terrace Bucky and I had finally finished setting up for the evening. Knowing how much of a special place the rooftop is for y/n I had decided to make it even more special for her. Hanging the delicate false flowers along the wooden beams of the outside bar, complemented with fairylights it really had set the mood.

Moving over to the other side of the terrace I had set up a tee-pee tend decorated with various balloons and candles. I wanted y/n to celebrate her birthday the best way she could and I needed everything to be perfect.
"Thanks Buck it looks great." I beam happy with our achievement.
"So are you planning to ask her before the party?"
"Im gonna steal her away during the party when everyone is distracted and its all in full motion. I don't want any interruptions."
"Oh I bet you don't," Bucky teases winking at me as he continues to tidy up the packaging from all the decorations.
"Haha, you're so funny." I retaliate flatly trying not to show my amusement at his comment.
"I'll make sure nobody comes up here when you decide to do it."
"Thanks man that's great, anyways it's just gone 7 we best go start getting ready for the party."
"Agreed! Tony will not be happy if we're late."
Heading back inside the tower Bucky and I go head off to get ready for the 'party of the century' as Stark keeps describing it.
*Y/N POV*
7:30pm - 30 minutes before the party
"Oh my goodness y/n you look beautiful!" Pepper exclaims as I stand out from the bathroom in the shimmering navy blue body-con mini which wrapped around my chest to a little below my hips. With a sheer overlay with white lace stars design throughout the length to the floor.
"Yeah?" I can't help but ask, nervous my dress may be a little too much.
"Oh absolutely it's perfect y/n, and Steve... Well he is gonna be in awe." Nat comes beside me pulling me into a side hug. Looking over to her I see she is in a maroon body-con which comes just above her knees.As usual she looks flawless.
"I'm so excited for tonight it's gonna be so much fun." I smile to myself looking in the mirror making sure my dress sits in all the right places.
"So y/n any bets tonight on who can pull the most people?" I hear Wanda from behind me, turning I see her in a emerald maxi hanging just above her ankle.
