A Blooming Love Story (Erehisu)

Chapter 6

The essence of Fall slowly yet surely came into full effect once the second week of October hit. No longer were there people wearing shorts, tank tops, and flip flops. They opted for sweaters, boots, and pumpkin spice latte.

Historia and Eren have been shopping for Halloween costumes for over an hour.

Eren: "This has been taking forever! We've been here for an hour."

Historia: "It's mostly because you wanted to look at the superhero section instead of the couples section."

"The costumes are pretty cool. I told you, you can be a good Susan Storm."

"I'm not wearing spandex."

"Too bad, you would've looked hella hot in it."

"Seeing you wear spandex would be appetizing to see but instead of that, I could be goldilocks and you can be the bear!"

"Haha, very funny. No. Let's be....." He looks around and pulls a black and white striped shirt. "Referees."

"That is so basic, Eren."

"Fine."

Historia pulls out two outfits. "Oooo how about a nurse and doctor. The outfits look cute!"

"I'm not dressing up as my dad."

"A doctor, not your dad." She decides to put it up.

Eren grabs her wrist to stop her from putting the costumes back on the rack. "Actually, maybe you should try it on."

"Only if you try on the doctor one."

"Okay."

They find their sizes and go to the change rooms. Eren gets the room by Historia's and changes into the doctor's outfit. He comes out and knocks on Historia's door.

Eren: "Are you finished?"

Historia: "Uh yes I'm done." She opens the door and goes back to looking in the mirror.

Eren comes in, closes the door, and walks up to the mirror.

Historia starts to adjust her costume. "This is like a dress and I like the poofs at the bottom of it. It's a bit shorter than I thought and I don't know if I want to wear mostly all white. I would have to get some white stockings too. Plus you have green scrubs on. I don't know about that color. What do you think?"

Eren hugs Historia from behind. "You look really good."

Historia snorts. "Thanks, but should we wear this for Halloween?"

Eren: "Hmm"

"Stop checking me out in the mirror."

"No to us dressing up like this but you should keep the outfit."

"Oh so when you're sick, I can dress like this?"

Eren smiles.

Historia: "No."

Eren laughs. "I didn't say anything!"

Historia: "You didn't have to. Let's try something else."

Eren: "Okay, on one condition."

Historia: "What?"

Eren: "Kiss me."

Historia: "We can do it after." She tries to walk to the door but Eren keeps his hold on her. "Get out."

Eren: "Kiss me."

Historia crosses her arms. "Ok." She turns around and gives Eren a short peck. "Bye."
