Chapter 9.5- Sasha + Food= Love?

After arriving at the Halloween party, there were all sorts of sounds to be heard and smells to sniff one can take in. Despite all the senses blurring, Sasha's nose could still sniff out the wondrous scent of Niccolo's cooking. She only ate his meals one time but one time was all she needed to distinguish it from any other smells. With this in mind, Sasha immediately informs her friends on where she wants to go first as soon as they come to Miche's house.

Connie and Ymir come along with Sasha on her adventures. Niccolo is so distracted with cooking that he didn't hear anyone come in until he heard Sasha's voice.

"It smells great here!"

Niccolo almost hits his head in the oven as he was taking out newly baked appetizers. He quickly looks towards the owner of the voice. "Sasha?! You're here!"

"Yeah! This is the hottest party! What are you doing here? I mean how do you know Miche?"

Niccolo blushes and looks away. "I-uh well."

Ymir hooks her arm around Niccolo's shoulders. "I invited him here since he's a great cook."

Sasha smiles. "I'm glad we get to taste your cooking again. Oh, this is my friend, Connie. Connie, this is my friend Niccolo."

Connie moves to shake Niccolo's hand but he waves him off. "Sorry, I'm still cooking but it's nice to meet another of Sasha's and Ymir's, friend!"

Connie smirks. "Uh-huh. You be careful with Sasha, okay? We're like twins so if you hurt her, I'll feel it and punch the crap outta you!"

Ymir scoffs. "Connie, that's not how twins work."

Connie: "And how do you know?"

Levi walks into the kitchen. "Alright, where are the sandwiches?"

Niccolo abruptly gets back to work. "They're almost done!"

Connie: "Levi! What are you doing here?"

Levi: "What do you mean? It's my friend's party."

Connie: "I mean in that ridiculous lion costume."

Levi: "It's none of your damn business but I....lost a bet."

Sasha laughs with Connie and Levi bonks both of them on the head.

Levi: "Don't mistake my appearance, I'll still discipline you."

Sasha and Connie: "Sorry!"

Levi: "Look at you guys, two of you are dressed as pigs."

Sasha: "Armin is the third one and Reiner is the wolf."

Levi: "I wonder who came up with that idea."

Ymir: "Hey Levi, you're running food duty?"

Sasha: "Who would've thought that you're pretty good at it."

Levi: "I'm not running any food duty. I only manage the timing and the sandwiches are 3 minutes behind schedule."

Niccolo: "It's here! Hey!" He gives the plate to another person working in the kitchen. "Send it out!"

Sasha: "What type of bet did you lose?"

Levi: "Something I will not disclose.

Connie: "It must've been a big one. The Levi I know would not willingly wear that."

Levi gives Connie a death glare and Connie jumps back.

"If everyone is insisting, I could tell why Levi is wearing that god-awful costume."
