Chapter 16.5 Movies and Santa Claus?

Jean: "No."

Connie: "Yes."

Jean: "No, that's not it."

Connie: "Yes it is! Elf is the best Christmas movie!"

Jean: "Sure the movie is funny but who wants to watch a grown man play an elf the whole time in the movie?"

Connie: "I do."

Jean: "Yeah right."

Connie: "Then what's your favorite?"

Jean: "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation"

Connie: "What is that?"

Jean: "You don't know it?!"

Ymir: "No one knows that movie, Jean. It's ancient. The best Christmas movie is Die Hard 2."

Connie laughs. "Wait what? That's not a Christmas movie!"

Ymir: "It is."

Jean: "It's not. Mikasa, are you hearing this?"

Mikasa: "Well I think it is a Christmas movie."

Jean: "Mikasa."

Mikasa: "It's like Home Alone 2. It's set during Christmas time."

Connie: "You think Home Alone 2 is the best Christmas movie?"

Mikasa: "It's up there."

Marco lifts his head from the cookie that he was eating. "I would agree."

Jean: "Anyone who hasn't seen National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation can't rank what's the best one."

Ymir: "You're still going on about that movie?"

"Ho ho ho."

The group turns to a deep voice belonging to Erwin who is dressed up in a Santa Claus suit.

Erwin: "Are you all behaving like good boys and girls?"

Ymir: "Is this some kink or something?"

Erwin chuckles. "That's no way to talk to Santa Claus."

Jean: "How did they get you to dress up as Santa?"

Erwin: "It's my last sleigh ride so I thought that I should make it count."

Ymir: "Avoid saying that again."

Erwin: "Naughty, naughty. No presents for you."

Connie looks down and sees Erwin holding a bag. "What's in there?"

Erwin: "Only good girls and boys will know. Are you one?"

Connie closes his eyes in concentration and then opens them. "Yes."

Erwin smiles and takes out a small wrapped box from his bag. "Merry Christmas, Connie Springer." He walks away.

Marco: "I would have never thought we would see Erwin dressed up as Santa."

Mikasa: "Same."

Connie: "GUYS!"

Mikasa: "What is it?"

Connie shows them a toy car that was in the wrapped box. "This is a 1971 Chevy Chevelle."

Marco: "It looks pretty cool."

Connie: "I always wanted this car model when I was kid. How did Erwin know?"

Ymir: "Probably just pure coincidence."

Connie:"Probably or maybe he's the real Santa Claus."

Jean: "You think Erwin is the real Santa Claus?"
