Oh no, Oh no, Oh no

"Maybe.. just.. not tonight, Liam, I'm sorry." Zayn said as he pulled his shirt on

"But.. Mate, come on, we haven't been in so long!!" Liam whined

"Liam. I've got plans. You know that" Zayn says, getting slightly annoyed

"I know.. but.. I just thought maybe... never mind mate sorry I brought it up" Liam pretended to be disappointed and he grabbed his phone from the table and started to walk out

"Wait, Li, come on man" Zayn grabs his hand and tries to pull him back but Liam takes his hand away and says "no, man, it's fine. Sorry I bugged you" then continues to the door.

Zayn stares at his friend as he walks away then he looks down

"Liam." He says sternly

Liam stops for a second but doesn't say anything. His back is to Zayn and he's silently praying Zayn gives in and just goes to Nando's with him...

"Let's go to Nando's, mate.." Zayn says with a half smile

Liam turns slowly and says "Really? You'll go with me?"

"Yeah, man.. Of course. You're driving though." Zayn says and Liam smiles and runs to hug his friend

After the bone crushing hug, Zayn pulls back and says "I'm ready so lets go"

He sees Zayn go for his phone so he grabs it first and says "And no phones. I'll put mine in the car and you've gotta leave yours here. This is our night to catch up and talk about our memories at Nando's."

He takes Zayn's phone, ignoring Zayn's protests, and he puts it on his bed then shuts the door before taking Zayn's hand and dragging him out to the car..

"Mate, I've gotta text Vanessa and tell her I'm canceling!" Zayn complains

"No more talk about women!" Liam says as he starts the car

Liam starts to drive and he turns on the radio and starts singing along.. and Zayn completely forgets about the date because Liam's singing and the song on the radio ahs distracted him and he gives in and starts singing too..

At Nando's, the two order loads of food and eat and laugh and tell jokes and stories.. The waiter comes over again and asks if they need anything else and they have to calm down from their fit of laughter to answer him. 

"Yeah, We need the check.. We've decided to leave early and go mini golfing" Zayn tells him and he nods and hurries off to get them the check

"Why're we going mini golfing again?" Zayn asks Liam

"Because we're gonna jump in the pond!!" Liam explains

They got the check and Liam paid then excused himself to the bathroom.. As soon as he got in, he locked the door and got his phone out.. yeah, he lied and said he left it in the car..

He clicked 'call' on Beth's contact and waited for her to answer..

"Hello!" Her happy voice came through the phone

"Hey, love.. Are you alone?" He spoke quietly incase Zayn was waiting for him outside the bathroom

"Yeah, why? Did Zayn go to the date?!" 

"nope.. he's with me at Nando's and now we're going mini golfing.. I even took his phone away and left it at his house.." He explained

"I'm surprised I haven't gotten a call or something from V.. yeah, we fought, but I feel like she should've called me by now.." She says, sounding like she's suspicious

"Yeah.. that is a little odd.." 

"Wait, where's Zayn?" She asked 

"I left him at the table and went to the bathroom" Liam explained... then he felt his stomach drop and he said "gotta go B" before hanging up quickly and running out of the bathroom..

He stopped about 5 foot from the table when he seen a red headed girl sitting where he had been maybe 2 minutes ago..
