Niall, Gemma, and Harry all got out of the cab and started walking towards the club entrance. Of course, there was a line outside, but Gemma knows a lot of club owners.. so they all got to just walk in.
Inside, Niall pulled Harry and Gemma towards the bar immediately. Ordered shots, two for each of them, then Gemma was off to the dance floor and Niall and Harry were ordering another round.
As Zayn ate, Liam had snacked on some food he got from a vending machine.. then the doctor returned and set Zayn's empty plate to the side and said "any pain yet, Mr. Malik?" Liam wasn't used to hearing 'mr. malik' so he giggled but hid it with a cough.. "Uhm, Zayn is fine.. and yeah, in my leg a bit.. and it's itchy. Like, is there anything we can do for that?" The doctor shook his head 'no' and kept talking.. "We're gonna get you some pills. well, Nurse Angel will bring them, and then that pain will be gone in about 15 minutes. How about that shoulder?"
"Uhm, fine. Uncomfortable, because, ya know, the thing you got holding in place sucks to lay on, but it doesn't hurt." Zayn tells him. "okay.. we're gonna need x-rays of it tomorrow. So it'll probably hurt to move. And we'll give you something for that.. then, depending on what we find about your shoulder, will make our next move either easier or harder."
"Okay.. but what does that mean?" Zayn asked, a bit confused because the doctor wasn't very clear.
"Well, Easier would be you'd just have a big cast that kept your shoulder in place until it healed properly" He informs Zayn
"but.. harder?" Zayn asked, now worried
"Well.. it wouldn't necessarily be harder but.. we'd have to do a surgery to put either a metal plate or stints in your shoulder blade."
"oh" the injured boy mumbles
"But, nothing to worry about, I assure you. Now, I'll get Angel in here to give you some medicine for that foot." and with that, the doctor was out the door..
"A-at least Angel is coming back in here.. maybe I should go out to the hall when she gets here." Liam tries to lift Zayn's mood.
"Sure" Zayn mumbles
Liam walks out into the hall and almost runs right into a giddy-looking nurse Angel.
"Sh-.. sorry." He almost cusses but remembers he's in a hospital and he shuts up. She shakes her head and says "No problem. I should've been paying more attention to where I was going..." She stops when she realizes she doesn't know his name. "Oh. Liam. Zayn's friend." He holds out his hand and she shakes it. "Zayn's friend.. right.. okay well does he have another visitor right now? Do I need to come back later?"
"No, no, he's waiting for you." Liam smirks and she blushes a little. "Okay" she says quickly as she goes into Zayn's room. OBVIOUSLY excited to go see him again. Liam gets his phone out and looks through his social media.. and freezes when he sees that Beth just posted something a few minutes ago.
It was her and a guy.. standing in her bathroom.. and the caption made it all hurt him more..
