Lights, sirens, crying
He's not only furious that Beth is homophobic.. he's furious that Liam is sticking his neck out for her.
He's also worried. He's worried about Niall.
He's also super stressed out in general because he's got his own problems to deal with, women, family..
He gets in his car with far too many thoughts going through his head..
and he spins the car tires when he pulls out of Liam's drive.
And he speeds down the roads.
And he curses and hits his fists on the steering wheel as he drives.
And he doesn't stop at the red light
and he doesn't even remember the truck hitting his side of the car.
What he does remember though.. is lights. All different colors of lights. Not like the flashing, bright, neon lights in clubs.. and not like daylight either..
But just bright white. And even bright black.
He doesn't really know how black can be called 'bright' but it was.. it was almost blinding.
He remembers loud voices..
Shouting.
Screaming.
Crying?
The sterile, thick, clean smell of the room he was in made him want to be sick.
Even though his eyes were shut, the light above him was blindingly, horribly bright.
His tongue felt unbelievably dry.
He wasn't even comfortable in the way he was laying. He never lays on his back. He lays on his side or stomach.
He heard muffled voices.. and whispers.. and then crying.
Again?
but why?
