The App
I called Ashley and we both explained how the app would work to the team. They all agreed it was a nice idea.
"The app is going to be a game, where there will be advertisements but 90% of the money we get from advertisements goes to planting trees and helping organizations remove carbon from the air or in other words bring carbon neutrality. Now the 10% of the money is for our company, to grow and to reach more people and other companies. Ashely has talked with some organizations she knows and they have agreed to work with us. Who's going to help me improve the game and make it better?"
Everyone had their hands up.
"Let's start now then? Shall we?" said Aiden
"Yeah"
We went to my computer and showed them the codes. All of them started suggesting what should be changed and what shouldn't. We ran the program and repeatedly changed the codes and added more until we liked it. This took us 8 hours and we were all very tired. We did some more programming and then everyone left for their house because the third moon had already risen.
As I was watching a documentary with Ashley, she suddenly said "Look, this is going to take us a long time. Running a company to save the planet is difficult"
"What do you mean?" I asked her, confused.
"I mean, since we've kept our deadline for the app to be next week, we need to work on it as much as possible. The fact that Nedroj's condition is getting worse each day and has low resistance power compared to earth, only adds to that."
"So, should we work on it?"
"Sure, I mean, I can totally stay up all night"
"So can I"
So after watching the documentary, we started programming again, deciding to stay up all night.
"Okay, let's try making a product!" I said out of nowhere.
"Okay... Do you have any ideas on what we should make?" Ash asked
"Ummm... no, I guess."
"Okay, we'll try."
We started sketching random designs on paper. After only some time had we realized, why not make eco-friendly paper?
"Hey, we can work on eco-friendly paper!" I said excitedly.
"That's a Great idea!!!" Ash said, as excited as I was.
Both of us then started researching what materials we could use and how beneficial they are. We stayed up all night and soon it was morning.
"Let's call everyone and tell them our idea" I said.
"Yeah" she said
"But first, can I take a quick nap?" I said, almost falling asleep.
Ashley on the other hand wasn't at all tired, I remember how she used to work for weeks without sleep and still be fine, all without coffee.
"Yeah, sure," she said as she giggled.
And I drifted off to sleep, for once feeling content.
