Falling into Place

Things have finally been falling into place. The app is finally complete, we've sent the eco friendly paper to some manufacturers. We've made posters, started rallies, and made logos to spread awareness about our company.

Alessia and Zach have been more helpful than we thought they could be. Apparently, spreading news in school helps reach a large number of people. They even put up posters all over school.

But, what surprised me the most is, they told their story to the WHOLE school.

<Flashback>

"Hey guys, back from school?" I asked. They simply nodded, which was unlike them.

"You guys okay?" They remained silent.

I walked over to them and scanned their faces. They looked a bit pained. What happened to them today? Something at school?

"Guys, look at me, did something happen at school?" I ask them, getting nervous myself.

"We told everyone everything" Zach whispers.

"Everything about what?" I ask, confused.

"About our past," Alessia says.

I engulf them both in a hug, shocked. "Why though?"

"They needed to understand the importance of saving Nedroj." They reply. I squeeze them harder. They were willing to go through so much emotional pain just to protect the planet.

"I am so proud of you guys" I say, looking them both in the eye.

They give me a smile and go to their room to change. I follow them with my eyes. When they get out of sight, I take out my phone and scroll through it. I suddenly get a notification from their teacher.

Apparently she took a video of them sharing their story in front of the entire school. I click on it and watch their confidence and determination pour out of them, their pain successfully hidden behind their eyes.

<Flashback over>

I remembered that day and suddenly another idea pops into my head. I called all my friends who were collectively heading the company with Ash and me.

I wrote down my idea and made my way to the café. Lorlei was already there. Soon they all start trickling in. When they all reached I began..

"Guys, I'm thinking of making a 'Tell your story column' on the website. Remember how the twins told their story to the school which helped bring loads of people to our program? The same way people can post their story, so others realize the importance of saving this planet. So that past doesn't repeat itself." They all nodded, warming up to the idea.

"I'll start working on it from today." Aiden said.

"Great. So all in favour?" Kylie asked.

We all nodded and finished our lunch in the café.

Things were certainly looking good for the future.
