One year later
We never knew we'd come this far. It took us almost 6 months to make everything work out. We faced a lot of problems like the manufacturers quitting, but in the end, it all worked out well. We are working on sharing the idea to people all around Nedroj and have partnered up with other companies too.
With such success, we were called to do interviews to spread the message of Climate Change.
As I sat down by the huge glass window, I thought about what more I could do to save this planet. I messaged my friends who were now my team.
"Let's meet at the café in an hour," I typed.
Most of them replied in affirmative.
After an hour, I left for the café and sat there patiently waiting for my team.
"Hello!" said Kylie as she walked in "Why'd you call us here?"
"I'll tell you when everyone arrives," I said.
After just a few more minutes, all of them had arrived.
"So? Why'd you call us here?" Kylie asked.
"To celebrate, of course! But, at the same time, we need more ideas!" I said
"Yes, I have a few ideas already!!" Aiden said.
"Me too. I have thought about so many ideas and have written some in my journal. Luckily, I brought it along." said Lorelei.
"Nice!" I said.
Out of nowhere, the café owner, Lenny, walked towards us and said "I am honored to have you guys in my cafe. Can I ask you guys for a favour though?"
"Yes! What is it?" I said.
"I want to make my café eco-friendly and sustainable, would you wanna help?"
"Yes, of course!" Aiden said.
"Okay" said Lenny "When can we start?"
"As soon as you guys are free!" Aiden said.
"Okay!"
We celebrated with lots of food and then took a walk down the park, discussing ideas one by one.
"How about we work with small restaurants and cafés to make them more eco-friendly and sustainable?" said Kylie
"That is a great idea!" I said.
Everyone showed their agreement.
"We should start working on it by tomorrow, I'll also add a section on our app where small businesses can contact us" said Lorelei.
"Meet me tomorrow at my house everyone!" I said "And we'll discuss about this idea more"
"Have a good day!" I said as everyone went back home.
Suddenly, my phone buzzed, I got a call for an interview again. It was the day after tomorrow that I was invited as a guest.
I went back home and started working on my designs. It was time to sleep and I was excited for tomorrow.
