When The World Is Filled With Good People Like You!

So, Matilda, Jay, Hanna and various others, were in a Latin lesson. Dave had chosen German for his second language, and those in his class seemed to be having a way better time in lesson than those in Latin, mainly because their lesson was basically watching a film for 40 minutes. But I guess you could say that there were loads of competitions that took place in Latin, which made it fun. And these were all year round. You only really watched films in German for the last few weeks before school would end, whereas in Latin there were fierce translation races, epic drama performances and quizzes the whole day. And besides, the movies were in German, so you had to just read the subtitles if you wanted any chance of understanding it, and in the back row, that was some hard job. Anyways, Matilda, Jay and Hanna were still sitting next to each other, even after Mr Neil changed the seating plan earlier. It was when Jayson and Victor decided that it was a good idea to check where the narrow hole in the classroom led to by pouring water down it. What they didn't know was that directly under that Latin classroom, Miss Livier was teaching a lesson, and was definitely not content with a gunk of water pouring all over her head. The students were though, I guess that's an achievement. After that, Mr Neil vowed never to put them near that hole again. Well he was forced to promise that... but we don't talk about that. It was 1:00, exactly 10 minutes before the lesson began at 1:10. Honestly, Jay, Matilda, Hanna and pretty much everyone had nothing better to do at Lunch. It was either an infinitely long boring walk through the corridors or playing outside in the cold. In my opinion it's just best to wait in class. Anyways, enough of the small talk, let's get back to it.

Matilda reached over to Jay's side of the table without his notice. Jay was staring into space, thinking. Just thinking. When Jay thinks, he often has a blank look in his eyes. As in blank. One time, Dave walked past him while he was in one of his deep thoughts, and as he was about to greet him in his usual happy way, he fled off in fear as soon as he saw that vague look. One time, Jay was walking down the corridor, robotic-like in thought and as soon as Angel and Jessica saw him they stood back in  utter terror. It was just a look that you wouldn't usually see on this guy's face very often, and if you were unlucky enough to see it, it would give you a real shock, as in it'll probably give you nightmares for the next few nights. Anyway, when Jay was in thought he was very unaware of his surroundings, and Matilda, who had now gained a very good reputation of being a thief, took his Latin book, Latin Vocab book, Planner and pencil case off him.

'Matilda please give that back' Jay said, to Matilda's utmost surprise.

'So you do know how to be vigilant' Matilda said. 'This is just a test for you to see if you have a good reaction time, because I'm such a nice person'.

'Oh yeah, you're so nice...' Jay said sarcastically.

'Yeah, have you ever seen anyone as kind as Matilda here?' Hanna asked.

'Of course I haven't!' Jay exclaimed (still sarcastic).

'If only the world were filled with more good people like you!' Hanna said.

'Yes, if only...' Matilda said, dozing off a little.

'Yeah, if that were to happen, I think many people would be in the hospital with broken ankles' Jay said.

Matilda had a big reputation, kicking shins. She was the best at it, and no one messed with her. One time Theodore tried to, and she kicked real hard, as in real hard. Jay got to know about it sooner or later. The next lesson after that, Mr Neil said that Matilda was very kind. When Theodore gave his evidence against saying 'Matilda kicked me in the shins, she is very mean!' Mr Neil just replied, 'Maybe because you deserved it' and that was that. Nothing was spoken against Matilda, so she could pretty much get away with anything. But she didn't.

'Yeah, on a serious note, who's meaner than you?' Hanna asked.

'I don't find her as mean' Susan said, as she entered the room.

'She's only mean to her friends' Jay said. 'You would know, if you were me'.

'For once you're right. I'm nice to the people I hate, and mean to the people I like, because I can be' Matilda said.

'Oh, so that's why you're mean to Dave... That explains everything!' Hanna shouted.

'I am not mean to Dave!' Matilda shouted.

'Really?' Jay asked.

'Stop pestering me!' Matilda demanded.

'She didn't deny it!' Hanna shouted. 'I bet you like Dave'.

'No I don't!' Matilda replied, a blazing anger emerging in her eyes.

'Really...?' Hanna asked, a smirk now on her face.

'I swear I will....' Matilda began, getting in a defensive position.

'Salve Class!' Mr Neil said, entering the room.

Matilda hurriedly sat down.

'You either kill yourself now, or you better get your painkillers ready, because you're dead after this lesson if you don't!' Matilda snarled in a low voice.

Hanna backed away slightly.

'Who's dead after this lesson?' Jay asked, confused. 'I wasn't listening to your argument. Do you mind if I could have my stuff back?'

'Oh of course!' Matilda replied, now taking his bag from under the desk.

She gave Jay back his stuff for the lesson, but took his bag as a payment. Jay didn't notice this, and the lesson continued.

*

Even after the various lessons before the end of the day, Jay still didn't notice his bag taken off him. As they walked towards the lockers, Jay, Matilda and Hanna caught sight of Dave skipping down the corridor from the other side.

'Matilda you two would be such a great match!' Hanna shouted.

As Dave heard them as he met the cross junction, he looked towards them, his head slightly sideways in confusion. He then smiled in his usual happy way, waved and continued on.

'Face it, you guys would be great together' Hanna said.

'Hanna I swear...' Matilda began.

Hanna had already ran off, Matilda chasing after her. Jay however didn't notice and went over to Dave still deeply in thought. As he looked over at him, Dave jumped up in horror. Jay, looked confused for a second, but then shook his head a little and his eyes returned to normal.

'Have you seen my bag Dave?' Jay asked.

'Well it's pretty blinding... I don't know how you could've lost it in the first place' Dave replied.

Jay tried to remember, until Matilda and Hanna came rushing past them.

'There it is Jay!' Dave shouted.

'Thanks!' Jay replied, now chasing after Matilda.

And so, Hanna, who was getting chased by Matilda, who was getting chased by Jay, ran round and round the school, Dave staring at them every time they came past, in complete and utter confusion, but commentating on it, as if it were as like a F1 race.

THE END

Looks like we have a tsundere in our midst! (Tsundere: when someone is mean to the person they like) Honestly, maybe they could be a good couple... But I'd better shut my mouth before Matilda gets here... Let's hope that poor innocent Dave doesn't figure out what started Hanna and Matilda's argument.... Anyways, please leave a vote, it really helps!
