Wild Love

After Initiation

*with eight 3rd POV*

They all remain stunned at what they just saw. 

Ruby: "Seriously, what the heck was that thing?"

Yang: "I don't know."

Jaune: "It looked like a wolf."

Weiss: "Name the last time you saw a seven and half foot tall bipedal wolf."

Nora: "We live in a world where magic once existed. So this doesn't seem too far out of the realm of possibility."

Pyrrha: "She's right, stranger things have happened in this world."

Ren: "It still doesn't explain what that thing was."

Yang: "What do you think Blake?"

Blake: *looks at her* "Huh?"

Ruby: "What do you think that thing was?"

Blake: "In this day, age and world, there's no telling what it was."

She begins walking away.

Ruby: "Where're you going?"

Blake: *points* "Uh back to Ozpin, we still have to complete initiation."

Ruby: *laughs rubbing head* "Right, silly me."

They all begin heading back to Ozpin while Blake just thinks to herself. Why'd that thing whimper when it saw her? Even if by coincidence is it connected to that boy who ran from her twice?

In the inner forest we see Y/N stops in a clearing. He grabs his head while emitting a noise that sounds like a mix between a hack and a grunt. He falls to his knees as he turns back to normal. He falls onto his face as the final thing to return to normal are his ears.

Y/N POV

I flip onto my back groaning in exhaustion. I look to the sky while I think out loud.

Y/N: "Why'd I transform? Was it because that girl was about to die?"

I close my eyes and decide to take a nap. I'm woken up by the sound of footsteps. I look to see Ozpin walking to me with aid of a light from his scroll.

Ozpin: "There you are."

Y/N: "What time is it?"

Ozpin: "Nine o'clock. P.M."

Y/N: "I slept a lot longer than I thought."

Ozpin: "Come on, it's not safe to be out here at night."

I join him as we both walk back to Beacon.

Y/N: "So is initiation over?"

Ozpin: "Yes. You were the only one to not receive a partner or a relic."

Y/N: "Is that bad?"

Ozpin: "Under normal circumstances you'd be asked to leave. But something tells me I shouldn't kick you out into the city. So I'm just gonna assign you to your own team."

Y/N: "That feels like it's against the rules."

Ozpin: "It's easy to break them if you created them."

I shake my head as we finally reach Beacon. I'm then led to a lone door at the end of the hallway.

Ozpin: "I took the liberty of giving you a room away from the others students, figured you'd want to be by yourself for a little while."

Y/N: "Thank you."

He taps a few buttons on his scroll. Mine then dings.

Ozpin: "Since you missed team assembly I sent you a list of fellow student's name and the team they're on. That'll help you better identify them."

I open my room door when Ozpin speaks again.

Ozpin: "I also left you a present, it's on the bed. I think you'll like it."

I head inside and sure enough I see a box on the bed. I look at it to find a letter on top of it.

Y/N: *reading* "Dear Y/N, I viewed the initiation footage and saw your power. I also saw your shredded clothes. I had some of the upperclassmen craft these for you. They'll save you a fortune on clothes. Signed, Ozpin."

I open the box to see some clothes. I set them to the side to wear for tomorrow. In the meantime I head to take a shower. As I stand in the hot water I let it cascade down my back. After rinsing off I lay in my bed. I close my eyes when only a few minutes later I pass on into sleep.

That morning my dream flashes to me back at the circus. I feel something tear open my back multiple times. When I turn around I briefly see that man with the whip. I then find myself on that cliff. I look down at the water when I hear his voice.

Adam: "I will find you."

I jolt out of my bed gasping. I feel my face which is pouring sweat. My thoughts wander back to those three years and all the pain he caused me. It proves too much as I begin to cry.
