Lost And Found

3rd POV

Blake cries herself to sleep when Yang gently lays her on her bed. After tucking her in RWY huddle outside the dorm.

Yang: "She can't keep going like this."

Weiss: "Agreed. She'll die before we find Y/N."

Ruby: "So it's up to us to find him."

Yang: "It's been a week and we haven't found him."

Ruby: "We'll find him, even if we have to burn Vale to the ground."

Weiss: "Then let's get to it."

The trio gather their weapons before heading into Vale to find Y/N.

Y/N POV

I groggily open my eyes to see the sun's rays peering through the building. I go to move but feel my hands be slowed down. I look up and find my wrists are cuffed to a chain suspended above me. I yank the chain but it doesn't break. I try to transform but I can't, they must've drugged me.

I look at my hands again to see a gap between them and the cuffs. I curse before prepping myself. I inhale as I dislocate my thumb. I groan quietly so to not alert anyone. I wiggle my hand as it slips out of the cuff. I then do the same to my other thumb. Now free I slink into the shadows. 

Y/N: "Now just gotta find a way outta here." *rubs shoulder* "Left arm's down so this'll be harder."

I sigh before hearing someone come near.

Adam: "For Oum's sake, how hard is it to guard a child!?!"

He sighs before withdrawing a gun.

Adam: "I know you're here Y/N. So just be a good pet and come on out."

I hold my breath as he faces my direction. He stares right at me before heading right. I silently in relief when a gunshot whizzes past my head forcing me into the open.

Adam: "You're one disobedient pet."

Y/N: "I'm not your pet Adam."

Adam: "You will be in time."

He opens fire as I run away. One shot hits my thigh taking me down. I huff in pain when I look at my surrounds.

Y/N: "You're a horrible shot Adam."

He growls before resuming fire. I run dodging his shots but they hit the target I want. I get confident which proves my downfall as Adam shoulder bashes me onto the ground. 

Adam: "It's over Y/N."

Y/N: "Not just yet. You really should've been paying attention to what you were firing at."

He looks back to see his bullets hit the numerous dust crates. I burst into my wolf side then rake my claws against the concrete floor.

*RWY 3rd POV*

Yang: "It's been three hours."

Ruby: "What're you saying?"

Weiss: "That we take a break, get some food before continuing."

Ruby: "We have to keep going. The longer we're away the longer-"

She's cut off by a massive explosion in the distance. The rumble rocks the city as multiple car alarms go off.

Yang: "That came from the old shipping yard."

Ruby: "Maybe it was Y/N, let's go!!!"

They run as fast as they can. When they get there they see firefighters already there along with cops. 

Ruby: "Split up and search."

They nod before spreading out. Yang lifts up multiple chunks of rubble going wide eyed.

Yang: "Over here!!!"

Her teammates join her where they see Y/N laying on the ground. Aside from his old wounds there's burn marks all over his torso. Some paramedics carry him away where he's loaded into an ambulance.

Paramedic: "This kid's incredibly lucky, I doubt anyone else could've survived an explosion like that."

They patch him up as they fly him back to Beacon. After a few hours Ozpin and Glynda exit the room where they see RWY.

Ruby: "How is he?"

Ozpin: "He's stable. The doctors say the burns will heal up nicely."

Glynda: "But he suffered quite the extensive beating. He's scheduled for a full body check up later tonight. Hopefully that'll tell the doctors what all needs to be done."

They walk away with RWY looking at each other.

Yang: "Glad to see he's okay."

Weiss: "Me too, but I'm also scared what they'll find."

Ruby: "He's gonna be alright, I'm sure of it."

They maintain a hopeful look but also prepare themselves for worst case scenario.
