Grimm Studies Gone Wrong

Y/N POV

After crying a good ten minutes I put my new clothes on before leaving for my first class. I hang in the back of the classroom. When I sit down I spot that girl with the bow. I go wide eyed and take cover under my desk.

Blake POV

I go to sit down when I briefly see someone go down. I tilt my head and go to investigate. However right when I'm within reach I hear Port's voice.

Port: "Miss Belladonna, the bell means you're to be seated."

Blake: "Right, sorry."

I drop it and return to my seat. 

Y/N POV

I sigh in relief smelling Blake's scent go away. Since I'm already down here I decide to spend the rest of the class here.

Port: "Monsters, ghouls, creatures of the night. The Grimm are known by many names. But to me they're prey."

He laughs but quickly quits.

Port: "They'll be announced as such once you have graduated. Now, Vale is one of the four kingdoms that offer us a safe space in this otherwise dangerous world. A world which is full of beasts that want nothing more than to rip you apart. But have no fear, for that's where we come in, Huntsmen and Huntresses."

He clicks his tongue when I hear a girl groan.

Port: "These are people who've sworn their lives to protect those who're incapable of protecting themselves. From what you ask? Why the very world. That's what you're training to become. But first a story, when I was just a boy..."

I cover my ears in hopes of blocking him out. I'm interrupted by Port coming into view.

Port: "Hiding are we?"

Y/N: "Uh... no?"

Port: "I've called your name three times. You're being chosen for a demonstration."

He walks away as I join him. I look to my side to see Blake looking at me. I ignore her when I stand on the opposite of Port.

Port: "Today we'll see how you fair against against a Grimm. Be ready, for your match begins... now!"

He chops away a lock opening a cage. A Borbatusk charges out roaring at me. I twist to the side narrowly avoiding its tusk. It roars before twisting trying to gore me. I keep leaning back with the tusks coming closer and closer to actually hitting me.

Port: "Impressive dodging, can you only evade?"

I glare at him which allows the Borbatusk to throw its head back. I slide to a stop as the Borbatusk runs towards me. I twist but at the last second the Borbatusk twists its head cutting my side with its tusk. I wince in pain before kicking the Borbatusk into a desk row. I hold my wound before feeling my heart rate increase, no not now. 

I try to hold back a transformation but get caught off guard by the Borbatusk. It zooms by but I roll out of the way. However the Borbatusk bites down on my leg. I scream in pain as the Borbatusk shakes its head creating a big gash.

Yang: "Port stop the match!!!"

3rd POV

As the Borbatusk bites down on Y/N's leg a second time his wolf side breaks free. His teeth grow into fangs as his eyes switch to hazel. He grits his teeth before ripping his leg out of the Borbatusk's mouth taking several teeth. Y/N kicks the Borbatusk back as he gets to his feet.

The Borbatusk roars before charging at Y/N. However he moves faster than the Borbatusk can react. In a blink of an eye Y/N tackles the Borbatusk across the floor. It meets his eyes as it squeals as loud as it can. Y/N shuts it up by sinking his fangs into the Borbatusk's neck.

With a jerk of his head a huge section of the Borbatusk's neck is ripped out. It roars spasming out before bursting into dust. Y/N returns to normal as he looks at the other students. He looks at Blake before covering his mouth leaving the classroom.

Port: "Uh... class dismissed?"

Y/N POV

I finally make it to my dorm locking it behind me. I hold my head as I can feel my Faunus side trying to break free. Without thinking twice I run headfirst into the wall. I'm rendered unconscious upon contact.
