"Thank you."

Elliot turned around to look at her. "This isn't something you need to thank me for."

She looked at him blankly for a second and then chuckled. "Yeah I guess you're right."

Elliot looked at her for a second then went back to facing forward. They went to take the carriage together. Rosaline had gotten a lot more used to carriage rides even though her back would still feel sore after using one. She sat and looked out the window, watching the sky. She couldn't help but smile. Elliot had been watching her, for some reason he couldn't look away. He wondered what went through her mind.

'What was she thinking about right now?'

'What was it about nature she liked so much?'

But he didn't utter a word and simply watched her in silence. Every tiny detail felt so different about her, the way she carried herself, the way she smiled, the way she spoke, all so unique.

He sighed and decided to look out the window not understanding why he was acting like this, but couldn't help but glance at her one more time.

After some time the carriage came to a stop. They decided to buy a snack before going to the park, well it was mainly Rosaline that wanted it.

"You seem to really like it." Elliot said as he watched her take another big bite. Rosaline smiled at his words. "Yeah!" She took of a piece and handed it to Elliot but soon realized that the act was a bit too intimate. She got flustered and took down her hand but before she could fully put it down Elliot stopped her by holding her wrist. The sudden movement made her jolt. He took a bite of it from her hand and she couldn't help but blush. Yet he didn't seem to have felt embarrassed at all. 'Maybe this was common for him?'

Elliot simply walked away, expecting her to follow.

"It's pretty good. Maybe I'll ask the chefs to make it."

Even though she was behind him she could see a smile peek through the corners of his lips.

They walked together for a few minutes, Rosaline always being a few steps behind. She felt a bit too flustered to be next to him until she looked up to where Elliot had taken her.

It was a gigantic garden which never seemed to end, the grass was a shade of green she had never seen before, a type of vibrancy that you'd think you'd never get to witness. The flowers stood, facing the sun and looked as if they shone. They were all such different colours. She had to hold back from the urge to run around the park. Elliot could see the obvious excitment on her face and smiled to himself.

They walked around for about an hour yet Rosaline wasn't bored. She just kept on looking at everything in awe of just how beautiful everything was. As Elliot enjoyed seeing her so happy. They went ontop of a bridge, a stone one that looked like it would fall apart at any moment yet was still sturdy. Rosaline looked down at the water that reflected the sky, a strong baby blue mixed with white.

But Rosaline broke out of her trance when she heard a child cry. She turned to look where the sound came from and saw a child in the water, barely being above the water. And as her body moved an it's own before she knew it she was in the water. She was able to reach the the child and put it on the stone platform in the middle of the river but before she could get on it too her body gave out. She started sinking slowly and saw as her vision only became blurrier. Soon enough she was floating near the bottom, just looking up at the sky seeing a slight ray of light. But her body didn't stay still, even though she had no power left in her she still tried to get to the top.

It felt like her arms would break just from moving them, but even so she still tried, she was determined to get to the top.

But that's when she realized.

'Why am I trying so hard?'

'The old me would've just accepted it..'

'So why..?'

'Why.. am... I...?'

She could feel her conciousnes fade and before she knew it she blacked out.
