- YOUR POV - TWO WEEKS LATER.

I had spent the last few days talking and getting to know Hailee better, she would come to the house, play and sing, we would have tea and chat and then she would go home.

The more I got to know her, the more I seemed to like her, I was even wondering if perhaps, I should ask her out for dinner or a picnic or something like it, so, for the past five hours, I had been locked away in my office thinking about a way to ask a 25-year-old out on a picnic.

Katerina teased me and said that I was too old to be acting nervous about asking someone out. I drank some whiskey and took a sip of opium and I immediately felt my body relax, I checked the time and realized that Hailee would show up at any moment.

I left my office and made sure Katerina has fixed everything, I heard a knock on the door and went to open it only to find Hailee standing in front of me with the same beautiful smile as always.

" Y/N " she said and I took her hand and kissed it.

" Miss Hailee, come on in" I said and she thanked me and went straight to the piano, I followed her and she smiled.

" Any requests?"

" Yes, but it's more of a question "

" Alright"

I took a deep breath " how would you feel about going out on a date with me?"

" I would like that, very much so" she said and I smiled " great, how about tomorrow, tea time, I can come pick you up and we can go for a walk and perhaps go into town and have a drink?"

Hailee nodded " sounds wonderful"

She turned around and patted the spot next to her on the bench, I sat down and she started to play and looked at me.
" Can you sing with me?"

" I don't sing Hailee..."

" Everyone sings"

" I sound like a dying animal when I sing"

She laughed " I don't care, I want you to sing with me, please"

I rolled my eyes playfully and I started to sing as she played.

After a while I got up from the bench and extended my hand to her, she took it and I smiled and kept on singing as she and I started to dance together.

She laughed as I made her dip and she put her arms around my neck and when I pulled her back up our faces were inches away from each other.

I looked at her lips and she looked at mine " may I kiss you?" She asked and I nodded " yes, you may"

We kissed each other and I had to admit, it was one of the best kisses I had ever shared with someone, we kissed each other for a bit before we pulled away when we heard Katerina's voice.

" I'm sorry to bother you Ma'am, but Mr. Evans and Mrs.Johasson are at the door with Miss Danvers and Mrs.Arnett" she said and I frowned, I pulled away from Hailee and looked at her

" Wanna meet my friends?"

She smiled " sure, why not"
