Y/N was completely focused on the girl and the music, I reached for her hand and she didn't even move or look at me, she stood still, with a smile on her face as the Steinfeld girl played and sang gently.

Once she was done with what felt like the 50th song, Y/N clapped politely and smiled.

" Flawless and perfect as always Miss Hailee" she said and stood up, the girl smiled and thanked her.

" Same time tomorrow, I will be waiting" she said and lead Miss Steinfeld to the door, she paid her and closed the door before she went back to the couch with me.

I frowned " you didn't even look at me"

" I'm sorry, there just something about the way Hailee plays, I was captivated,"

I crossed my arms " you haven't seen me in years and a song is more captivating than me?" I asked and Y/N smiled and kissed my hand.

" I apologize, I knew that would happen, and that's why I invited you over for supper"

" Katerina said tea"

" Katerina is old and hard of hearing, she made a mistake, but that doesn't mean that you can't stay for supper" she said and moved away from me as she accidentally touched my wedding ring.

I went to reach for her but she stood up.
" What would you like to eat?"

" Anything is fine, what can you cook?"

" Everything" she said and smiled before she went to the kitchen and I followed her.

She washed her hands and she set the fire and started to cook, I sat across from the wooden table and I took a deep breath.

" You got spooked by the ring"

" Not spooked, I got reminded that you are married, " she said and went over to me with a spoon and made me taste the soup.

I nodded and she went back to cooking.
" You know that if I could not be married, I would be, but I had no choice"

" You could have left"

" Left? I'm not like you Y/N, I don't have rich Godparents that let me defy the laws and rules and that are willed to pay to get me out of trouble"

" Excuse me?" She said and looked at me.

" Come on Y/N, you dress like a man, you don't show up for mass and you are a woman who inherited a whole mansion and tones of money, you have no intention of wedding a man, You have no idea of what would happen to me if I tried to do the same thing"

" It's not my fault Elizabeth, it's not like I chose this"

" you chose to leave me! You decided to leave Boston and move away"

" I had no other option, people were talking, I had to leave"

" Or you could suppress your needs, you could have stayed here with me"

" And do what? Sneak out, make out with you in the shed away from prying eyes, and then see you parade around with your loving husband?"

" Would that be so hard?" I asked and she nodded " it would've been hell, Elizabeth"

" Why?"

" Because I loved you, I loved you the way a woman is supposed to love a man, I went away because I couldn't phantom the idea of you and Boyd..." She said and shook her head.

" Now I guess I will have to see you and Robbie parade around, and trust Lizzie, as much as I want you, as much as I missed you, your body, mind and soul, I will respect you and your marriage, even if you don't think it's needed"

" What will you do?"

She took a deep breath " I will find myself a wife, that way, you won't be tempted and neither will I..."
