~Y/n pov~

"Hey, something's floating on the water." Zoro's voice was heard from the crow's nest.

Luffy grabbed my hand and pulled me towards the railings to check.

"What? What?" Luffy smiled excitedly and peered over the edge.

"Where is it?" Usopp asked.

"Is that it?" Sanji also joined us at the railing.

There was a barrel just floating there with a message on top.

It seems suspicious.

Usopp squinted, "Doesn't it say treasure on it?"

"You're right." Luffy grinned, "Maybe a treasure ship accidentally dropped it."

"I doubt that." I stated as I watched them pull the suspicious barrel out of the water.

Everyone came to the main deck to see what all the noise was about as for the past few minutes, Luffy, Chopper and Usopp had been jumping around and singing about treasure.

"No. It has booze and rations inside of it." Nami told them when she saw it, which stopped their chanting.

"How would you know if you haven't looked inside?" Luffy huffed.

"Doesn't the banner say, 'offering of treasure to the Sea God'?" Nami stated as if it were obvious, "It's called a drifting barrel. It means someone made an offering to the god of the sea."

"That sucks." Usopp whined.

"Since we've got it, why don't we drink the booze?" Zoro suggested with a smirk.

"Stupid! The god'll get angry at you!" Usopp protested.

"You can drink it as long as you pray first." Nami told us as if she knew everything.

I'm pretty sure we shouldn't touch this strange barrel but whatever.

Zoro muttered something about not praying to God before walking over to the barrel and pulling the lid off.

"It's a custom to refill the barre with fresh offerings after you've emptied it." Robin added.

A huge flare came out of the barrel and erupted in the sky.

A blinding red light made me cover my eyes as a loud noise emitted from it.

Of course it was a trap.

This is the Grand Line after all.

"It was a trap. The suspicious barrel was a trap, who would've thought." I laughed quietly to myself.

"Someone may come after our ship." Robin stated.

"Yeah. Now everyone knows our location." I agreed, "Though I don't see anyone nearby."

Nami quickly ran up the stairs, "Everyone, get ready. A huge storm will the coming!"

Storm? My body froze up as I looked up at the sky.

The sky was still blue. Nami was an amazing navigator though so her words would probably be true.

Everyone ran around and quickly prepared.

I managed to snap out of my frozen state and help.

Rain started pouring down heavily on our heads.

Lightning suddenly flashed in the sky followed by a crash of thunder.

My body trembled as the loud noises invaded my ears.

As everyone else navigated, Luffy came over and crouched down beside me.

I hadn't even realised I had tucked myself into a ball until he sat right next to me.
