Pale pink teacup matched the humming of her heart
Not in the way it shone but in the way it fell apart
What was once something so small and beautiful
Now contained cracks you could not console
The sun that sparkled off her roses was now a dull glow
Still there
But barely
Over the years growing more dull
Till she was pushed from the counter in an irrational rage and she broke into a million tiny pieces
never to be glued back together
