*^*^*^*^*^* Max's POV *^*^*^*^*^*

I suddenly wake up to the sound of police sirens.

"What is going on? Where am I?" I say as I frantically try to recall my memory.

I look straight ahead and see Caymen's dad looking back at me.

"That's right I left my gun in here!" I say as I climb into the front seat.

I suddenly see Caymen's dad running back towards the car as the police start to pull into the parking lot. I lock the car from the inside as I still look for the gun.

"WHERE IS IT?! I NEED IT!" I said screaming to myself.

I hurt my one love, the woman that keeps me sane, I HURT HER! I thought to myself.

I hear from my left Caymen's dad yelling to me. "GET OUT OF THERE!"

"F*CK YOU!" I yell back.

"Where are the bullets?!" I said as I grab the gun and check the chamber.

I look up as Caymen's dad frantically bangs on the window.

"Oh God, what does he want" I said as I see a policeman coming over to the car.

"I got to get out of here! Where are the keys?" I said to myself

What about Caymen? I can't leave her here. Where do I go? What do I do? Should I run? Should I drive? Should I shoot? I'm running out of time.

"YES HERE THEY ARE!" I exclaimed as I held the pack of extra bullets in my hand.

"POLICE! OPEN THE DOOR!"

I quickly turn my head to the right & see the policeman holding his gun to the window.

"Shoot me!" I say as I put the car into drive.

"OPEN THE DOOR YOU HAVE TEN SECONDS" he yells at me.

"10...9...8...7...6...5-" I say as I look at where to head next. 

I frantically pull out of the parking lot and make a run for it.

"MAX!" I hear faintly as the tires screech.

I stop the car.

*^*^*^*^*^Sophies POV*^*^*^*^*^

I try my best to keep pressure applied on Caymen's wound.

"Grandma why would he do this to her?! Imagine what he would do to us! HIS FAMILY!" I say as tears well up in my eyes.

I can't believe this! This poor innocent girl, she has a family, she has friends, she goes to school, how did she end up in this position?!

"IT SHOULD'VE BEEN ME! IT SHOULD'VE BEEN ME! IT SHOULD'VE BEEN ME! IT SHOULD'VE BEEN ME!" I yell. "SHE DOESN'T DESERVE THIS!"

I yell to the police man, "SHE DOESN'T DESERVE THIS!"

"Sweetie nobody does, we will take it from here, you can let her go, thank you for what you've done." The nice cop said to me.

"She doesn't deserve this." I said one last time before getting up to hug grandma, blood covering my hands and arms.

"MAX!"

I turn to look to see Caymen conscious for just a second.

I didn't even notice what was going on with Max and Caymen's dad.

I was so focused on myself and Caymen that I didn't realize what Max was still doing! "I can't believe myself."

"CAYMEN NO!" I said yelling and running to her as she's being carried away by the medics. "Leave him alone Caymen! He doesn't deserve you!"

I wipe my tears and watch as she goes in and out of consciousness.

*^*^*^*^*^*^ Max's POV*^*^*^*^*^*^

"Is that her?" I said as the car comes to a complete stop in the middle of the road.

Caymen?? I thought she was dead? Didn't I shoot her? I NEED TO SEE HER!

I turn to look and see if anyone is still chasing me. "F*CK" I said as I turn back and bang my head on the steering wheel.

"I need to go! But what about Sophie and Caymen? What about grandma??" I said to myself.

"Forget it I love her, I'll risk anything for her."

Turning the car around i suddenly see a huge cargo truck coming around the corner of the road.
