*** Max's POV ***
I patiently waited for grandma outside because she wanted to talk to me for some mysterious reason. I was wondering was was taking her so long inside. As I was about to walk in I saw her open the door.
"Hey Max." She said smiling.
"Hi grandma. What's going on? Is everything ok?" I said confused as to why she wanted to talk to me.
"Hey I need you to go to the store real quick ok?"
"Okay but why couldn't you just tell me this inside?" I said still confused.
"Cause I don't want Caymen to want to go with you. I want to get to know her. Ok?" She said starting to get frustrated.
"Okay. I'll be back as soon as I can." I said.
"Here I have your keys." She said handing me the keys."
Something's up. And I'm not liking it. I quickly got in to the car wondering what I'm supposed to get from the store. I didn't feel like going back so I'm just gonna get whatever.
** Caymen's POV**
Max's grandma quickly walked inside. She walked to the kitchen to grab something.
"Let's go." She said demanding.
"We are just going to leave Max here?" I said loud enough for her to here me.
She stopes in the doorway, along with Sophie.
"Isn't that what you want?!" She said turning to face me.
"I love him." I said instantly regretting what I just said.
She looked me up and down then grabbed my arm and forcefully took me to her car as Sophie tagged along.
"He's your kidnapper you can't love him!" Said Sophie. "He's my brother but I don't love him." She said as we got into the car.
"You don't?" I said looking at her sharply.
"Yeah. I don't." She said loosing eye contact and looking out the window. "Where to grandma?" She said, her breathe fogging up the window.
I stood there in awe until her grandma finally spoke.
"Oregon" she said smiling and looking at me. As I sat in the passengers seat.
"Oregon?" I said. "We are in Florida. Yours going to drive there?!" I said as she started to back out of her drive way.
"No silly. we are going to the airport right now." She said smiling.
"I want to go home. To my family." I said tears welling up as I looked out the window. "I-I miss them." I said, voice cracking.
"You'll get to see them." She said voice filled with joy."
The rest of the car ride was silent. Not a word to be heard but the ones on the radio.
And the suddenly, we passed Max on the freeway....
