Don't Make A Sound

I quickly ran into the kitchen to get some bullets for my gun and hopped into the car to chase after Caymen's dad. 

I turned on the car and it wouldn't move. " ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!" I said banging my hands on the steering wheel. I hopped out and the tires were slashed. 

I checked the map to see the nearest bus stop and went inside to get some shoes.

I then took off on foot and took the map and went looking.

****** Caymen's Dads POV ******

"HAHA, I bet he didn't expect me to show up. " I said to myself turning on some tunes. 

I checked the glove compartment to see if i still had my knife and my guns.

"Check, check and check. I guess I came too prepared, that guy got scared quick, all I did was put a knife to his throat. LOL." 

****** Caymens POV ******

"I miss my family" I said expecting no reply. 

Sophie turned towards me and put her hand on my cheek and said " I miss my family too. We used to be so nice and loving but ever since Max left the house and lived on his own things changed, like my mom got super depressed and started taking medication because a couple months after Max left my dad passed away. She wasn't herself and neither was Max, he maded me keep this a secret but he killed my mom." she started to tear up. "I'm so sorry to hear about that Sophie" I said taking her hand off my cheek and putting it in my hands on my lap. " I think that's what triggered my brother to do this kind of stuff. He just kinda went crazy and I think this is how he copes with his anger and sadness." 

"Yeah that would make sense" said Grandma. 

"What do you mean that would make sense" said Sophie looking confused as she turned around and took her hand out of mine. 

"Just saying, that would make sense why hes doing all this stuff, why hes acting this way, being so possessive over you, Caymen, and I. I do think something happened in his head when your dad passed, i feel he had to fill  that void with some other type of love which he couldn't find with someone so he forced it, like with Caymen."

I looked at Sophie and she was just in awe, I think she finally realized how crazy her brother has become. 

"Sophie, it's gonna be okay we are gonna find help, someone to help us get away, I promise" I said as I put my hand on her shoulder.

She then put her hand on top of mine. "I hope so Caymen, I hope so."

She then wiped her tears and I put my hand back in my lap. 

"Thank you Caymen." I gave her a look of confusion. " For what Sophie?" I said.

She turned to look at me. " For never giving up on me and not holding a grudge on me when I helped my brother keep you hostage that one time, just thank you for telling me everythings going to be okay." She smiled and turned back around and wiped her tears. "You're welcome." I said.

"Hey! Guys look it's a gas station!" Grandma said pointing to this old looking gas station with a mini store on the side. "Finally" I said, I'm so hungry. "Me too." They both said in unison. They both laughed as grandma parked the car and we all got out to get something to eat but grandma left her wallet so I went to go get it in the car. 

I grabbed the keys and walked to the car. I saw this car pull up but thought nothing of it until i saw who it was. 

"DAD?" I said dropping  the keys and running to the car as fast as possible.

I could see his face light up with joy as glanced at me and parked the car. He got out as quickly as possible and ran to me picking me up off the ground. "I missed you so much babygirl!" He said as he squeezed me tighter. "How did you find us dad?" I said as he put me down. "Us?" He looked confused. 

"Yes dad us." I took his hand, picked up grandmas keys and walked into the store to show him Sophie and Grandma, they were at the counter waiting with bags of chips, waters, candy's, soda's and sunflower seeds. 

As I walked in they both looked puzzled and Sophie lunged towards me to grab my hand. "No Soph, it's okay this is my dad, he is here to help us." I said as I backed away from her reach. 

My dad then put a stack of cash on the counter and told the clerk that should be enough and we all went back to grandmas car to talk.

YO YO YO GUYS, WHAT IS UP?? Its been awhile, I know.. But I'm back and will be updating more frequently for you guys ofc :) but I was really thinking about making another book about myself??? should that be a thing? IDK but yeah guys hope you enjoy BUT 34K?? THANK YOU GUYS IT MEANS SO MUCH!! Hows everyone's summer?
