As I frantically pulled in the gas station, I begin to realize what a horrible thing I've done, I hurt Caymen! My true love...
"What did I just do??" I mumbled to myself.
I was in shock and unable to get out the car but then I saw Caymen's dad calling someone and nearly jumped out of the car.
"is she okay??!" I tried to yell but it was more of a whisper, still in shock of what I've just done. I decided to just walk up to everyone.
While walking over to Caymen my eyes lock with Caymen's dad.
I fell to my knees just a couple feet away from her and last thing I remember was Caymen's dad approaching me before I fell to the ground and everything went black.
*^*^*^* Caymen's Dad POV*^*^*^*
I saw my beautiful daughter hit the ground and rushed over to her body, Sophie and the grandma were already surrounding her.
Once I was there to her I tried to stop the bleeding with my hands. Grasping her leg holding it tight.
"We need to call 991!" I said to Sophie and the grandma. I grabbed my phone and dialed 991.
While on the phone, I look frantically around to see where the gunshot came from. My eyes soon locked with Max.
"Hold your hand here, I'll be right back" I said to Sophie.
"Okay" she says, I hand the phone to the grandma and pull out my knife.
Max's face soon turns pale and he looks lifeless. Before I reach him he falls to his knees and passes out.
"HELP!" I hear a lady scream from a car. I turn my head to the left and see an almost broken down car with a lady in the backseat "HE KIDNAPPED ME HELP!!"
I rush to Max first, still laying there, I pick him up and place him in the car with the lady.
I turn the car on, "stay calm I need to get my daughter to safety, this man kidnapped her too."
She gasps and tears start to run down her face, "who are you" she asked voice shaking.
"Don't worry I won't hurt you. You can trust me I hate this man too." I say as I start to pull into the parking spot where Caymen lays.
"You can get out if you don't feel comfortable being inside with him I'm going to lock the doors." I tell the lady in the backseat.
She hops out the car and we both make our way to Caymen.
"Don't forget your lock it" she says. "Right." I say and I lock the car.
"When will the cops be here" I ask the grandma.
"The dispatcher lady told me that they'll be here in a couple more minutes" she said.
"I tried to elevate her leg to stop the blood from-" the sound of sirens cuts her off
"I've never been so happy to hear that sound." I said. "You're going to be okay Caymen." I said reaching down to touch her face.
I turn around to hear movement in the car we came from.
The lady turns to me worried. "I forgot to mention we left the gun inside with him..."
My heart sank, "WHAT GUN?" I said walking briskly to the car.
