33: Always Leaving
Harry must have gotten up before me, because I woke to an empty bed. I rubbed my eyes, curling back up with the pillow, hoping he'd come back. I heard the door click open, and peeked at Harry. I was feeling shy, the night before was something very new to me.

"Hi, baby," he murmured, smiling gently and crawling on top of me. He hovered respectfully over my body, letting me make the first move. I reached up, grabbing his curls and touching my lips gently to his.

"Good morning," I replied softly, resting my forehead on his and leaning in for another kiss. We shared a long look, his green eyes burning into me. It made my stomach tie in knots and a smile free my shyly bitten lip. Gently touching my cheek and breaking eye contact, he flopped down on the bed and cuddled right up beside me, his face nuzzling into my neck. I could feel his smile against my skin, he was completely content just to drape himself over me and pretend to sleep.

"I love you, Harry." I reached over my shoulder and stroked his cheek. I was wearing his shirt, mine lost somewhere on the rug. He tugged on the hem of it until I turned to him. He playfully grabbed my chin, his thumb touching my bottom lip to get my attention.

"I love you too," he said simply. Then, to my surprise, he threw his leg over mine, on all fours on top of me, his paper airplane necklace hanging just above my face. A sly smile was on his face as he dipped down to kiss me teasingly. "I never thought you'd play hard, Sarah," he murmured. I felt my face flush pink.

"Harry, stop," I pleaded, embarrassed. He giggled and leaned down again, kissing me right under the jaw. His necklace was cold on my collarbones, and I flinched, echoing his laugh.

"No, I mean it," he whispered, fluttering his eyelashes on my cheek. "You surprised me last night." I felt a flutter rise in my stomach at his words. He met my eyes with pure fire.

"Yeah?" I said, wide eyes locked on his. He nodded slowly, his eyes brightening in a cheeky smile. I reached up and gently poked his dimple. Placing my hands on his warm chest, I pushed him off. He lay back on the bed, his eyes never leaving me. I pulled my hair into a messy ponytail and headed to the bathroom, keeping his gaze.

"I'm all yours," I said softly, winking at him. I heard Harry whimper as I closed the bathroom door behind me. My heart was fluttering. I liked this side of us.

Before I knew it, One Direction's second tour was only weeks away. Fiona had returned to America at the end of their first, and for good. We'd all cried, but Liam was taking it the hardest. Even ages later, we could still see it sometimes in his face.

One afternoon, I was sitting out on the sidewalk waiting for Harry to return from a meeting, when my phone rang. I picked it up. "Hi mum!"

"Hi bubby, how are you?"

"Once I turn eighteen, you can't call me that anymore." I warned her, and she laughed. "So, what's going on?"

"The boys are leaving on the second of October, right?"

"Yeah, I've started to pack already. Harry told me yesterday that it's spreading all the way down to Australia!! I've always wanted to go there."

"About that, honey..." I didn't like the tone of her voice. She paused, I was holding my breath. "I don't want you missing any more school. I'm keeping you here, while the boys are on tour, until-"

"Mum!!" I cried, standing up, almost dropping my phone. "No!! I have all my credits done anyway!"

"I understand," she said, her voice sickeningly calm. "But you missed so much of junior year, I'm keeping you in London until you-" I cut her off, my voice shaking with anger.
