Chapter One: The First Time
"Sarah, you've got to hear me out..." Oh, the accent just killed me. The smooth silky way he talked his way into my heart. "I didn't mean anything by it, come on, you know that..."
God, did I want to kiss him right then. We'd been so close to our first kiss that night, and then...
"What, Harry? You mean when you left me alone all night?"
Harry looked close to tears, even with the shy, passionate blush creeping up his neck. "I didn't know what to do," he whimpered, gazing down at me in desperation."I love you."
My heart stuttered in longing. I ached to feel his arms around me. His lips on mine. So bad it hurt.
"I...Harry, I..." I knew I should be angry with him. I knew I shouldn't forgive him this easily. But it had been months, one thing or another keeping us from our first kiss, and I loved him so much I thought it might kill me.
"Kiss me," he whispered. I shook my head, but slowly because I knew I would."Please," he begged. The silence dragged on too long.
I launched into Harry's arms, the warmth and feelings hitting me even before his lips did. It was desperate, hungry, the way we kissed. I wrapped my arms around his neck and thrust my fingers through his curls.
His breath, warm and persistent, sent chills down my spine as he dashed kisses on my neck. I felt his hands wandering down my back and into my pockets.
My body relaxing in a sort of relieved stupor, I let him kiss me, passionate but slow, and I pulled him closer with handfuls of his t-shirt. He let out a little whimper and obliged, pressing his body into mine.
After a minute he dipped his curly head to my neck and began kissing me gently right under my jawline. Indescribable shudders shot through my whole body and I let out a sigh, taken by surprise.
"I love you," I moaned, taking a moment to catch my breath. Harry swallowed hard, his his arms still around me tight. I ran a hand through his hair and he tensed up in longing. I could feel his sharp intake of breath against my chest.
"I'll love you forever," he breathed, only inches away from my face. "I don't know how I know it, but I do." I leaned in to kiss him again, this time gently, twirling a curl between my fingers. He smiled lazily, softly taking my lip between his.
By the time we pulled apart, it was dark for real and the city lights were reflected in Harry's eyes like stars.
"I'm sorry," Harry said for what felt like the thousandth time.
"I know," I whispered, drifting my fingers across his cheek. He smiled, that gorgeous, cheeky smile, and before I knew it we were kissing again. This time he scooped me up in his arms like a bride, still desperately kissing me, and carried me to his bedroom. For a split second, I wondered if I could trust him. I pulled away hesitantly, searching his face. He looked down at me with his lips parted, his curls sexily mussed, chest heaving. Then he swallowed hard and nodded.
"I know."
Harry laid me down on the bed, pulling off his shirt as he did so. I could feel the heat radiating off his toned, tan chest as he slid on top of me, gently.
"Harry..." I whispered, still worried.
He gazed down at me, ran a hand over my cheek. I leaned into his hand, wanting him to touch me more and more. "I promise," he murmured. All of a sudden, I believed him.
I slipped my hands around his back, amazed at the warmth, the smoothness of his skin. Then I let him kiss me, deeply, feeling the shiver all the way down to my toes.
I let myself get lost in him, feeling a rhythm in the way he kissed me. I bit my lip just to keep silent when he dropped his lips to my neck. I could feel him smiling against my skin, and I started to giggle because I was just so relieved that this was all finally happening.
Harry pulled away from my neck, laughing softly, and giggled onto my lips as he kissed me again. I reached up into his curls, tugging him closer, and I felt the smile fade and his kiss get stronger. Hair was a big thing with him, I knew it, and I knew I would use it.
He and I lay there for who knew how long, his lips always either touching my neck or my mouth or my exposed shoulder. It never got boring or repetitive, it was all perfect and shivery and warm all around me.
After a while, I pushed Harry off me and rolled on top of him. He looked up at me, his eyes wide and searching, lips parted in soft breaths. I wanted him to know how he made me feel.
I hit home instantly by nosing my way down to Harry's neck and kissing the delicate skin with my lips. He whimpered, letting out a long breath. Harry tilted his head back, eyes closed and bottom lip clamped between his teeth in a desperate urge to keep quiet. I wanted him to know just how helpless I could make him feel.
Short, low breaths still escaped through his teeth, urging me on. I let my kisses trail from his neck down to his chest and across his stomach. I felt the muscles tense under me.
I let my kisses trail slowly back up to his breathless mouth, playfully biting his lip to get his attention. His eyes snapped open and found me with a passionate smile.
It wasn't till what seemed like hours later that I rolled off of Harry and onto the bed beside him. His breath was coming gently as he turned towards me, leaning up on one elbow. He reached out with the other hand an brushed a strand of hair off my forehead.
I swallowed a hard breath and raised up to kiss him softly on the lips. Harry's curls were in adorable dishevels, his cheeks flushed with passion and exhaustion. He smiled lightly, kissing my forehead before fully laying down.
He curved his arm around me and I cuddled into his bare chest, still radiating heat from me being on top of him.
"Sarah?" he whispered, his breath still uneven.
"Yeah?" I replied, looking up at him from where I lay in the crook of his arm. He gazed down at me for a minute before answering.
"I love you."
"I'll love you forever," I replied. "As long as you're in, I'm in." He laughed softly, but it was interrupted by a quick intake of breath when I nuzzled my nose into his neck. We fell asleep like that, precariously entwined, and that was when I knew. I would be Harry's forever.
