For the past 2 weeks I've been trying to spend as much time as possible with Keith and Shiro. I couldn't go home to spend time with my mom since she was at the other base preparing for the mission. We've been having sleepovers, after school hangouts, hoverbike races and a lot more. You could actually say I could be clingy.
Well tomorrow is the day of the Kerberos and Norax mission. I can't say I'm thrilled about all of it and I think Keith's catching on with my secret. If the crew don't come back within two months then I have to leave. I gotta go. See yah.
Okay! Tamara is acting weird like, weird weird! I mean I love her but this is getting out of hand. She wouldn't leave my side all week and she hasn't been eating well or sleeping. At first I thought she was sick but this is more serious than I thought.
Right now we're in class taking down Notes. Ever since I started hanging out with Tamara, I've been more attentive in class and reduced my bad behavior. Oh don't worry, the rebel is still in there! He's just taking a break.
I looked over at Tamara. Her desk was across mine. Surprisingly, she wasn't paying attention to the teacher. She was sleeping!
'What the heck? Tamara never sleeps in class. Somethings gotta be wrong.'
Unfortunately the teacher noticed and glanced at me. Did I forget to mention that all the staff know about our friendship? It turns out it was the talk of the school the first week.
I shrugged. This was the first time I've ever seen her not paying attention in class. I reached over and lightly shook her. In an instant she woke up and screamed.
"MOM!" She screamed out and Her face was like she saw a ghost. She had sweat rolling down her face. She then realized that all eyes were on her and she shrank in her seat.
Most of our class were laughing except for the teacher and I. We just looked at her with sympathy.
"Miss Karai, is everything alright?" Mrs Evans asked her with a worried look on her face. Tamara didn't say anything. She just asked to be excused and left the classroom with her bag.
I then decided to follow her. The teacher let me go and I ran down the hall to look for my friend. I soon found her by the corner hugging her knees.
