11: Training

"Okay here we go.

"I'm Tamara and I've decided to make a video documentary of my time here in space. It's way better than writing it down in diary...so it's day one and I'll be starting my training. It's gonna take a lot of training if I'm ever gonna beat Zarkon so I have to give it the best I've got. Well I'm off to go start."

"This is Tamara Karai signing off!"

I got up and groggily brushed my teeth and  took a shower. The water was really nice and warm. When I was done I changed into a pink string top, black gym pants, black combat boots and finally, Keith's fingerless gloves. I then put my long hair into a high ponytail and my glasses and somehow found the kitchen. I noticed some container and inside was green goop. 

Good thing I brought cereal with me.

I took out some cereal and milk, put some in a bowl that I found in the cupboard and started eating whilst looking at nothing in particular. Soon after, Gidget and Cia came and they wore similar clothes to mine.

"Morning ladies" I said and the waved back.

"Morning Tamara. May I ask how your night was?" Cia asked.

"It was alright." I said and noticed Gidget looking at my food.

"What's wrong?" I asked her and she pointed at the cereal.

"What is that? Aren't you gonna have some space goo?" She asked and Cia looked at the cereal too.

"It's called cereal. It's what we eat on earth in the mornings. Come try some." I poured some cereal in two bowl and handed them to the girls. The both sat down and took a spoon. Once the food hit their mouths they exploded but not literally.

"What the heck?! This thing is amazing!" Gidget said and ate faster.

"It is quite appetizing. Thank you Tamara" CIA said and finished her cereal which confused me because she was an Ai but I didn't ask any questions.

"No problem...so when do we start training?" I asked and put my dishes away.

"Right now. Follow me!" Gidget said and put away her dishes too. The three of us walked out the room and Cia led us to the training room. We walked in silence and I started to feel anxious. We finally made it and the doors slid open to reveal a huge room but it was somewhat empty except for a control panel.

Gidget and I looked at each other and shrugged.

"Umm Cia? How are we supposed to train if there's no equipment?" I asked and she just giggled and walked to the control panel. We followed behind her and she started turned on the panel and a holographic purple touch screen appeared in front of her.

"Just leave the obstacles to me. Tamara, stand in the center of the platform." She told me and i stood where I was told to. The platform was raised a bit and I looked at the two with confusion.

"So what now?" I asked and Gidget just shrugged.

"Here, choose your weapon" CIA said and the wall to my left opened and revealed a whole lot of weapons. There were blasters, staffs, swords, even shurikens! 

"First we need to find a suitable weapon for you. Choose one and we'll see which one your most comfortable with." Gidget told me and I walked to the weapons. I looked at them and picked a sword. I got into position and Cia started pushing some buttons.
