28:Base Attack

The next day, everyone was on the bridge making a plan on what their next move would be. The team had to go to the balmera to free its people but a certain someone was not feeling good about the idea of carrying extra passengers.

Tamara's POV

I was standing next to Alex and Cia whilst the Paladins planned their next course of action. It was mostly Hunk trying to convince them to go faster and the others telling him they need a plan of action. The rest of us stood at the sidelines not saying a word knowing it best not to intervene in things we don't even know about.

"I'm just saying. Shay and her people need us and we need to save them as soon as possible." Hunk explained and the others  nodded.

"We get it Hunk but we need a plan before we blast in to a planet filled with Galra swarming around!" Keith said and Hunk slouched a bit.

"Then it's settled, we make our way to the balmera and by tomorrow we will a full proof plan and save the balmerans." Shiro said and everyone gave a look of approval.

"And with out new set of hands, we should get the job down in a flash! Easy peasy!" Lance mentioned us and had a smirk on his face.

"Umm, excuse me?" Alex asked and Allura jetted in with an angry scowl on her face.

"Absolutely not! Their not even part of the team! I cannot allow it!" She huffed and I could hear Gidgets breathing quicken.

"And why not? I thought you guys needed our help in this war." Cia asked and Pidge nodded.

"Well we do need the extra fire power especially if we don't know how many Galra ships we will have to face there" she said but Allura was not having it.

"We can face the Galra ourselves!" She huffed and Gidget snapped.

"And how are you gonna take down a whole fleet if you barely won against Sendak!?" She asked and I knew this wouldn't end well.

"Well it's better than having to fight alongside one!" Allura snapped back and all of us where taken aback from what she said especially Gidget, Alex and I.

"Allura! They are only trying to help us." Shiro said sternly but she only sulked.

"I'd prefer if we handled it ourselves!" She said and I finally had enough. I stepped out from behind Alex and made my way towards her startling everyone.

"With all due respect your majesty!" I said in the calmest way I could muster and faced her whilst everyone looked shocked.

"You guys have just started to learn how the Galra works and we have just started to learn how a heated battle goes. With your weapons and skills and our experience and knowledge, we could fight millions of Galra fleets with ease!" I stated and she stood there in shock. 

"Now I hate to butt in but I have a suggestion. Back at our base we have a whole database that we use to find out how many galra fleets will be there and the schematics of their cruisers. You could take us to our base to retrieve it or you could drop us off there and we will go our separate ways." I explained and turned around to make sure everyone heard me before looking back at her.

"It's your call princess!" I finished and everyone seemed satisfied. Shiro, Keith And Alex smiled at me and I put my hands on my hips before walking out of the room to suit up, the rest of my team right behind me.

Keith's POV

"It's your call princess!' Tamara grumbled before walking off with her team behind her out of the room.
