It's been two months since the launch and we heard that the crew of both teams landed safely on the planets. I really was happy and at this point I don't think anything will go wrong. But let me not Jinx it.
Today is my one year friend anniversary with Keith. He doesn't know it yet and I'm planning a huge surprise for him.
I didn't get any nightmares these past days and I was finally getting enough sleep. I woke up hearing a knock on my door. At first I thought it was Keith but then I remembered that he's in the room across me in his bed. I was a bit confused and I put on my glasses. Still in my pink space pj's I walked still half asleep and opened the door.
Infront of me was a boy I guess was my age but a bit taller. He was wearing an orange bandana around his head and he looked huggable. Since I hadn't talked to anyone except for Keith, my shyness kicked in and I started to stutter.
"I'm..H-hie...c-can I help you?". I mentally facepalmed my self for not working on my social skills.
The boy spoke up.
"Hello! My name is Hunk and I'm looking for a girl named Tamara Karai. Do you know where she is?" He said.
"Oh um..that...that would be ...me. Nice to meet you hunk" I said in a soft voice like I always do.
"Nice to meet you too Tamara. Mrs Janet told me that you're really good at cooking. Is it true?" He asked in the kindest voice ever.
"Mhm...but I-i wouldn't say r-really good though. Why you asking?" I said bashful at the comment.
"Well we're in the same cooking class and I was hoping you would help me make some treats. All the others were busy today." He said a bit sad which also made me a bit sad.
Well I do need to make some treats for Keith. Maybe we could help each other.
"Sure!...i also need to um...make some treats for my friend. So we could help each other out?" I asked and was hoping he would say yes.
"That would be great! Meet me in the kitchen in let's say..10 minutes?" He said cheerfully.
"That's okay...see you soon" I said and we waved goodbye to each other as he ran down the hallway. I closed the door and leaned on it with a smile.
I guess I'll get another friend today. Oh I gotta get ready.
Since it was a weekend, we were allowed to wear our normal clothes. So after a nice warm shower I changed into my outfit.
