14: The blade of Marmora

Tamara's POV

The girls and I were in the weapons room changing into our suits. It was also the first time Cia ever wore her mission suit. Once we were suited up, we got our weapons, put on our hoods and masks and headed to the bridge where Alex was waiting for us.

The door opened and Alex turned to look at us with a small blush on his face whilst he watched us enter the room. I decided to tease him.

"What's wrong Alex? Cat got you're tongue?" I said and the girls snickered.

"No way! Did Tamara just tease?" Gidget asked whilst suppressing a laugh.

"I think it's teenage hormones!" She said and we all burst into laughing. I was glad to know that Gidget was okay with Alex. It took her some time but she finally got to her senses. 

"Alright guys, playing time is over. It's time to get down to business." I said and everyone stood at attention.

"We head to the Marmora base. CIA you'll fly with Gidget in her ship. Alex, you're coming with me." I said and we all agreed and headed towards the elevator to the ships. 

Once we got to the hanger, I took my ship (it kinda looks like an Altean space pod but in black and purple and it resembles a jet if you get what I'm saying)

And we flew out of the base.

"So where is the base located exactly?" Cia asked on the communication screen.

"It's a bit far from here, I don't think we'll make it in time!" Alex said and the girls shrugged. I then felt a tingle in my suit and I saw my purple gem necklace glow. My eyes glowed too and I felt energy wash over my body.

"I think I know what to do!" I said and all eyes were on me. They all looked shocked to see my eyes glow.

"What the heck Tamara! You seeing a vision or something?" I heard Gidget ask but I shook my head.

"I think I know a way to get us there. Alex, I'm gonna need you to hold my hand and think of the base coordinates!" I told him and everyone cocked an eyebrow.

"Tamara are you making up an excuse to hold Alex's hand?" Cia asked and I scoffed.

"Just trust me Okay." I said and Alex held my hand. I closed my eyes and the energy I felt was released. I heard noises infront of the ship and when I opened my eyes I saw the same pink and white wormhole that I first saw when I got to space. We all gasped and sped up towards the wormhole.

"Stay close and hang on tight!" I said and let go of Alex's hand to grip the steering. Then we zoomed into the wormhole and all the g-forces took a toll on us. Just as it started, we got out and the portal closed. Gidget then appeared on the screen.

"What the heck was that!" She asked and held her stomach.

"Tamara, it seems that you can summon wormholes.. but how?" Cia asked and I shrugged.

"I have no idea. I just felt like some energy and I somehow I knew what to do." I told them.

"Well whatever you did, it did the trick, Look!" Alex said and we all saw the coolest thing ever.

The base was in between two black holes and a blue star. It was awesome but terrifying.

"Welcome to the Blade of Marmora base ladies" Alex said and we sat there in awe.

"That's cool but...how are we going to get in?" I asked them and we went back to silence.

"We need to be extra cautious about this. One wrong move then its either we're burnt to a crisp or torn into pieces!" Cia informed us and I got filled with dread.
