7: Dreaded news

Tamara's POV 

It's been a month since the space missions landed and now they were doing analysis as we were told by the Garrison. Keith and I have been spending time with each other and we would even invite Hunk sometimes. Unfortunately I started having those nightmares again and almost had no sleep. And today was one of these nights.

I tossed and turned in my bed. The nightmare seem real.

It was on the Kerberos mission. Somehow I was on the planet in a suit. I saw Mr Holt, Shiro and Matt taking some samples. It seemed okay until it turned drastically. Their ship was blown up and they had to float away but a purple tractor beam caught them and pulled them in the ship. I tried to reach for Shiro but I was then teleported to planet Norax. I saw my mom leading the search and the same thing happened. 

They all got taken away in the tractor beam and my mom faced me saying.

"Tamara! Stay safe! You'll now everything eventually!" She yelled and vanished into the ship.

"MOM!" I screamed and I suddenly woke up. What I don't notice was the purple necklace in my cupboard was glowing a faint glow. My head spun like mad and  and my breathing was heavy. I turned on my desk lamp and quietly took some water and pills to ease the throbbing. It seemed to work but I was still spooked. The dreams seemed more real every time I had them and it was hurting me. 

Could something have gone wrong on the missions.?

I tried to sleep again but I was scared to have another nightmare. So I had only one option. I took my pillow and Mr hippo and walked to you know who's bed!

I lightly shook him and he woke up which shocked me because I'm really hard to wake up. When he saw me he's gaze softened.

"You had another nightmare?" He asked in a groggy sleepy voice. I nodded my head.

"Having trouble sleeping?" I nodded my head again.

"You feeling okay?" I shook my head and he sighed and moved to to the other side of the bed. I climbed in and hugged mr hippo and snuggled up into Keith's chest. He put arm around me and we drifted off to sleep but this time I didn't have another nightmare.

*timeskip *

Keith and I were walking to class and I was finally awake and active. He did try and stop me from going to classes but I insisted. Once we got to the class, we took our seats and started talking about other things which didn't involve nightmares. I was also playing with my star necklace before hiding it in my jacket.

When the other students came in they all took their seats and we took out our books ready for the lesson. But we weren't ready for what would happen next.

The teacher then came in and turned on the monitor which confused me. She then put it on the news channel and we all kept quiet to listen.

"This just in! The Kerberos and Norax participants have been reported dead. Further investigation says it due to pilot error. The following people were involved. Matt Holt, Sam Holt, Takashi Shirogane, Kira Karai...."

At this point I didn't wanna listen to the rest. My heart was broken. My mom was reported dead along with my Uncle. Most of the students in my class looked at me in sadness. It became unbearable and soon I booked it and ran out of the classroom trying to run away from my problems. I ran till my feet hurt. 

No! This can't be! That dream can't be real! THIS IS NOT REAL! 

I fell to the ground in my room and all the tears poured out. First my dad, then my mom and my uncle Shiro. I had nobody. My only parent figures were taken away from me.
