chapter VI.
they were drunk, well yeosang was drunk. like — more drunk than he should've gotten. yeosang had drank far more than the vampire, but seonghwa had disclaimed that he was a light weight before they even popped the top.
the human danced drunkenly around the living room as a random twice song played loudly in the background. seonghwa chuckled lightly at the boy before taking another sip of his beverage.
it was nearly midnight and he wondered when yeosang would come crashing down from his drunken state — although it seemed like it wouldn't be any time soon — not that he minded that though.
"get up and dance with meee." yeosang slurred as he made his way over to the vampire, of course not forgetting to bump into the table along the way.
seonghwa sighed as he watched the drunk male try to pull him up from his seated position on the couch.
"how about we sit down and stop drinking."
"you're no f-fun." the other replied in between hiccups. he plopped his body next to seonghwa's, leaning into his side by accident.
"i am a light weight, i already feel drunk with just the slightest bit in my system." the older complained as he slung his arm around yeosang's shoulders.
"you're a vampire. how could you let something as harmless as alcohol take you out?" even through his slurred and slow talking, the human was still able to talk with nearly perfect pronunciation.
the vampire chuckled. humans — well at least yeosang — seemed to
think very highly of him."i found i couldn't hold drinks a very long time ago. back in my home town, my friends and i would always go out to drink. i would have to stop far more earlier then them due to the fact that i'd get terribly sick if i didn't."
"hmm," yeosang mumbled as he snuggled closer into seonghwa's side.
"do you miss your home town?"
seonghwa thought for a moment, did he miss his hometown? he couldn't confirm that either yes or no was a 100% truthful answer.
"sort of? follow me." he motioned for the human to follow him towards the balcony, to which he agreed to.
seonghwa opened to door and waited for the other to follow, he soon draped his arms over yeosang's shoulders so that the drunk boy could have some stability.
"if you look closely enough, you can see a dark hill towards that way, under the moon. that is where my home lies."
"on one hand, i deeply miss my friends like san and— even just the locals. but on the other hand, my nagging parents are back there, which is just unpleasant for everyone." he sighed. yeosang just hummed as a response, not really knowing how to reply.
"..well at least you get to live with a very cute human?" yeosang slurred as he leaned his body on the vampire again. seonghwa just chuckled at the intoxicated boy, he couldn't deny that.
"you're right, cutie." seonghwa replied simply. the two kind of just stood right there, in quietness, staring off into the distance. after a while the older interrupted the silence.
"shall we head back inside, yeosang?"
"yes! r-round two!"
