chapter IV.
so much for wooyoung keeping it a secret.
now all 5 of yeosang's friends were crammed on his small black couch, questioning the vampire that just started unexpectedly rooming with him.
yeosang was sitting at his dining table, frustratedly eating a bowl of cereal. he'd heard the same questions asked and the same answers responded 3 times by now. and he was still quite salty at the fact that wooyoung didn't keep his secret as asked.
they were treating seonghwa like some world phenomenon. technically he was because a lot of humans have never encountered a real life vampire, but that didn't matter to yeosang at the moment.
"yeosang!" hongjoong called from the living area.
"yes, hyung?" he answered, trying not to show his frustration. he could never be mad with hongjoong.
"how about you come talk with us, you look so alone." the blue haired male pouted as he patted the seat next to him, "plus, we're just about to head out."
a few minutes won't hurt... yeosang thought to himself. in fact, he was kind of relieved that his friends were about to go, as bad as it sounded. his head was aching from all the pestering they were doing to seonghwa.
"i vant to suck your blood!" he heard his friend, mingi, doing an awful dracula accent on seonghwa. typical mingi.
"oh, how hilarious that would it be if vampires actually sounded like that." well, it seem that seonghwa was amused by it. he was practically tearing up from his laughter.
"did you guys find out all you wanted to know about vampires?" the silver-haired questioned as he squeezed himself in between the men on the couch.
"of course." jongho nodded with a thumbs up.
"you know, a lot of stuff i saw on twilight was painfully inaccurate about real vampires." yunho complained. the rest of the men chuckled at his silly comment.
"okay. we have to leave now, but it was nice meeting you seonghwa! and yeosang, invite us over more!" hongjoong complained as he stood up from his seat, the 4 other boys accompanying him shortly after.
the friend group showed themselves out, and yeosang sighed in content. he allowed his body to get comfortable on the couch, next to seonghwa.
"you're friends are delightful people to be around." the vampire chuckled as he reached for the tv remote.
"mhm." was all yeosang could mutter.
"this might be a peculiar thing to say—but one of your friends had one of the most delicious smelling blood types i've ever smelt."
"uhm, huh?" yeosang asked, now fully sitting up and turning his attention towards seonghwa.
"it's true." seonghwa shrugged. "i think it was... hongjoong?"
yeosang turned a bright shade of pink. did that mean seonghwa could smell every human's blood? did his blood smell good to the vampire? no. why is he even thinking about that?
"what about mine?" yeosang kind of just blurted out, almost in a defensive tone.
seonghwa smirked at the younger's actions, "is somebody jealous?" he teased the male.
the other just huffed. "n-no i didn't mean it that way. i'm just curious."
"mhm..." seonghwa totally believed that.
"for your information, you're blood smells delicious as well, my dear." the vampire whispered, causing yeosang to turn redder than he already was.
"w-why didn't you tell me this before?" yeosang stuttered out.
"that would be an weird thing to say to a human you intend on staying with, no?"
seonghwa was right. he probably would've been freaked out if that was one of the first things a vampire told
him.
"oh no... i think my cereal is getting soggy." yeosang fake pouted. "i-i'll go finish eating."
yeosang's cereal was already far too soggy for him to even think about taking another spoon. but he couldn't be around the flirtatious vampire any longer.
