So close

3rd POV:

They were in the forest walking towards the town to get help. Akaashi always stayed close to his lover. It felt nice to hear his heart beating at this time. Tendou and Ushijima were in front of the two other males talking to each looking worried. At any sound, the boys would all stop walking and look around. It was like a living hell. Akaashi wanted to act strong but his facial expression gave away how terrified he was. He then snatched the map Ushiwaka was holding and took out his compass. Yes, they were headed in the right direction. North was their key point. Straight ahead. Bokuto looked over Akaashi's shoulder and pecked a kiss on his cheek. This was not an easy moment for any of them. Tendou sort of looked annoyed towards Akaashi's behavior. They were all stuck in the same situation but the smaller black-haired male was a bit rude towards his lover.

They probably had been walking for approximately 30 min only halfway to go. The four adults were so close to reaching their goal, hope started growing in them. The group felt relieved and smiled at each other. As they got closer to the end of the forest they started hearing voices. Akaashi said they were just hallucinating and being paranoid. Bokuto was feeling safe anyway since he was with three friends.

A knife flew in front of Ushijima's face and had the other boy's eyes wide open at what happened. They started running as fast as they could doing zigzags not to get caught. Another knife landed at Tendou's foot. They ran out of the forest seeing the town barely five minutes away since they were running. Bokuto sprinted knowing they could make it. He made it just in time followed by the others but Akaashi who they saw on the floor far away, a knife planted in his back. Bokuto broke into tears and called the police right away. The three survivors could not believe their eyes. Each of them was crying.

The police arrived and inspected the dead body. They took him to the hospital for the time and followed the other male to the training camp. Bokuto stepped out of the cop car still crying his eyes out. Hinata understood right away when he saw that they were all back except Akaashi and everyone broke into tears.

Sakusa led the police officer to the coach's cabin. The bodies are inspected and put in the back of the car. The vehicle could not bring all the boys back to the town in one go and as always there was no wi-fi. The boys would have to hold on a bit longer.

The police officer promised them once they would arrive he would send four cars to come to get everyone. The boys trusted the cop and the first people to leave were Bokuto, Tendou, Ushijima, Hoshiumu, and another member from Msby.

Atsumu was still crying in Sakusa's chest. He wondered how this could all happen. Oikawa and Iwaizuni on their side tried recomforting each other and being lovebirds to the max. Oikawa still felt unsafe.

I'm sorry I only come back now but um here's a new chapter u deserved a long time ago so I apologize. I've been busy with some exams and I'm not feeling well so yep. But anyway I shall try and be more active and write more often. Thx for reading this far live you all❤️
